Commenting on the lack of affordable housing in Cornwall, Scott Mann, the Conservative parliamentary candidate for North Cornwall, says, “I like the idea of using modular housing as a quick solution to North Cornwall’s housing problems. We need truly affordable housing for hard working families on Cornish wages. We should streamline the planning process for this to happen.’’ According to cornishguardian.co.uk, when Housing Minister Kris Hopkins visited the area he concurred that more needs to be done in the way of affordable housing.
