From Billings, Montana and KRTV.com MHProNews.com learns a new modular assembly plant will be coming to the community of Bynum. The new plant will bring an initial 80 jobs and more than 100 more. Lauren Engineers & Constructors of Abilene, Texas have not specified the exact number of jobs, saying the plant has yet to secure work contracts. According to a news release, the company has leased an office in and will have the office open starting Jan. 23. The assembly plant is expected to begin operations in the spring. The new plant will work in conjunction with Lauren’s fabrication facility in Texas to construct and assemble modular equipment for shipment Canada and elsewhere. The Montana community is preparing for an influx of new residents. According to the report the town is also making plans for additional parking, housing and public schools.
