Facing an energetic and aggressive challenger who took advantage of the anti-Washington, DC mood, Mississippi Republican Senator Thad Cochran, stunned by the June 3 primary that denied him an electoral majority, beat back TEA Party challenger Chris McDaniel by less than two percentage points, 6,400 votes in the Republican primary, virtually assuring him of another term in the U. S. Senate.
Jennifer Hall, Executive Director of the Mississippi Manufactured Housing Association (MSMHA), is wearing red as she stands near Sen. Cochran as he thanks his supporters for the win. Hall’s husband is by her in the photo.
MHProNews understands that Mrs. Hall was active in the Senator’s campaign, and is pleased by the Cochran victory. ##
