SearchCore subsidiary Wisdom Homes announced an expansion in marketing to better engage the baby boomers.
Jim Pakulis, CEO Of Wisdom Homes Of America, said, “High retiree numbers create a higher demand for alternative housing in areas such as Texas. Cash-rich boomers are purchasing more second homes and empty-nesters-those whose children have left home-are downsizing and buying smaller homes. And boomers on a budget are beginning to find purchasing a manufactured home as an excellent alternative due to is affordability, quality and aesthetics.”
According to BusinessInsider, since 2007, 5.5 million people in the U.S. have retired. Pew Research Center says that some 10,000 baby boomers generation members will reach retirement age daily for the next 19 years. 26% of the US population, or approximately 76 million people, are considered baby boomers.
SearchCore spun off its ManufacturedHomes.com division earlier this year, focusing on its manufactured housing retail operations. ##
