Updating a story we posted Jan. 25, 2012, about a marina development in Poquoson, Vir. that included a 50 site MHC, the dailypress informs MHProNews the entire Whitehouse Cove project is flourishing. While so far only 13 of the homesites are occupied, eight more are committed and the developer thinks it’s just a matter of time before the others are taken. The custom-built two bedroom homes start around $75,000, and the sites rent for $450-650 a month. The restaurant is adding 80-100 seats, the marina is adding more docks to accommodate more boats, and an in-ground saltwater pool is being built for the MHC residents. Poquoson is located just north of Newport News on the Chesapeake Bay.
