Asbury Park Press informs MHProNews New York City’s Robin Hood Foundation, which began raising money after Hurricane Sandy, including the 12/12/12 rock-star concert, has distributed over $45 million of the $67 million raised. The majority of the funding is going for housing-related services, as in the past. Of the $10.5 million being dispersed in the latest round of giving, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey are receiving $3.7 million, which is being distributed to several organizations. Included in the distribution is $725,000 to the Union Beach Disaster Relief Fund to purchase four new manufactured homes for survivors who lost their homes n the storm.
