The huerfanjournal reports from south central Colorado the Kaspia Group, a New Mexico contracting and real estate services company will begin producing modular homes in the old Kan Build site in Walsenburg, CO early next year. Specializing in affordable housing developments, Kaspia expects to hire 60-65 full time employees who will turn out one modular home a day. Designed as a modular home-building operation in 1970, the plant was upgraded in 1998 and has all the heavy duty electrical and mechanical infrastructure necessary for the new business. As MHProNews has learned, the company is also opening a facility in Las Cruces, NM that will employ 250.
