Yahoo!Finance reports Nobility Homes, Inc. of Ocala, Fla., in announcing financials for the third quarter ending Aug. 6, 2011, says net sales were $2,881,572 as compared to $4,351,040 for the same period in 2010. Loss from operations in the quarter was $929,145 as opposed to a loss of $2,963 for the same period a year ago. After tax net loss for the third quarter of 2011 equaled $3,048,052 as compared to the same period in 2010 of $151,265. While sales and operations for Q3 2011 continue to be negatively affected by the nation’s economic uncertainty and slowing shipments of manufactured homes to Fla., the company’s financial picture remains strong with cash and cash equivalents, and short and long term investments valued at $8,127,472 and no outstanding debt. As of Nov. 3, 2012, that figure stands at $7,643,925, as MHProNews has learned.
