The Danielsville (GA) City Council voted to place a moratorium on any new or used manufactured homes (MH) moving into the city for the next 180 days. City Clerk Susan Payne said any existing manufactured homes and permits previously issued for the siting of an MH would not be affected.
Council members want time to update city zoning ordinances and building codes, according to what madisonjournaltoday tells MHProNews. The new ordinances are expected to be ready Feb. 6, 2017. Danielsville is a small town with a population of 560 (2010 census) just north of Athens in Madison County. ##
