The DailyNewsOnline reports a $400,000 New York state grant to replace pre-1984 factory-built homes with new MH will be directed by Genesee Counties’ Housing Initiative Committee in collaboration with the non-profit Pathstone Corporation. The goal is to replace eight owner-occupied homes in Genesee and Orleans Counties with energy-efficient units. There are 25 out-of-code homes in the two counties. The maximum grant available is $46,000, but the family must own both the home and the property. MHProNews.com has learned applicants who live in an MHC do not qualify.
