2011 promises to be the Year or the Manufactured Home Show. Not only will we see the return of the Louisville Manufactured Housing Show in January, but the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association has scheduled its HOMExpo 2011 at the Expo Center in York, PA for the end of April. PHMA executive vice president Mary Gaiski told MHMSM.com there hasn’t been a show since 2008, but after receiving a number of requests, the board decided to bring the show back. “Our retailers are very positive about it,” Gaiski says. “They feel the message it’s going to send will be a good one.” Industry Days at the show, as in the past, will offer PMHA members and all industry personnel the chance to learn of new trends, new products, available services and updates on federal and state laws/regulations. The focus for the public days will introduce the beauty, variety, and craftsmanship of factory built homes and showcase a variety of home-related products and services to encourage any homeowner or renter to visit for additional enhancements or improvements to their homes. Gaiski expects 20 homes will be on display at the show. Trade Day Dates are April 26-28 and Public Day Dates are April 29-May 1, 2011. More information is available at PMHA.org
