A veteran of the manufactured housing industry for over 40 years, Gary Abbate has passed away, according to Ken Anderson of the Arizona Housing Association (AHA). After joining the Redman Homes sales team in 1970 in Texas, he served as sales manager for Redman first in Florida from 1987-1996, and in the same position in Chandler, AZ 1996-1999. In 2003 he was tapped to be the Sales Manager for Champion Home Builders, Inc., serving in that position until his retirement in 2010. Gary was Redman’s sales manager of the year for several years, and received the same honor from Champion Homes in 2007 and 2008. A member of the Arizona Image Committee for over ten years, he served as Chairman 2001-2002. MHProNews.com extends its sincerest sympathies to his family upon his passing. ##
