A mother, grandmother, and aunt, SueAnne (Sosinksky) Howery, 63, of Indio, CA, has passed after a lifetime battle with numerous life-threatening medical conditions.
SueAnne was survived by her children Kevin Kennedy and Kelly Cardarella, grandchildren Hailey and Ivy Kraft, step-daughter Cassie (Howery) Galbraith and her fiancé, John Roling, brother Kevin (Gael) Sosinksy, and sisters Mary Kay (James Barthels) Rathe, Kelly (Bruce Schroeder) Matteson, and Amy (Brad) Bliss.
Amy Bliss is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Housing Alliance. Bliss was instrumental in the founding of the Tomorrow’s Home Foundation.
Born Jaunary 27, 1954 to Alois & Monica (Ennis) Sosinksky, SueAnne enjoyed music, dancing, card games, fishing and collected Raku pottery and art.
Through battles with juvenile diabetes, breast cancer, a kidney and pancreas transplant, a brain tumor and many other illnesses, Howery lived a full life.
A graduate of Wonewoc-Center High School, class of 1972, she also attended WWTI in LaCrosse with a focus on business. She was also a dedicated employee at Affiliated University Physicians and General Medical Laboratories.
Through all of the illness, SueAnne still loved life, friends and family, and managed to smile through it all. She adored her dog Cali, who was with her until the very end of her battle with lung cancer.
SueAnne will be remembered as “Wonder Woman without a cape.”
