The CEO and owner of Harold’s Easy Livin’ Homes in Abingdon, Vir., William Harold Stapleton, 83, passed away at his home July 24, 2013. Called a “Living Legend of the factory-built home industry,” Mr. Stapleton earned numerous awards as the number one dealer of the companies he represented, and always ranked among the top ten independent dealers. He was a Hall of Fame member of the Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association (VAMMHA), of Clayton Homes, and of R-Anell Housing Group.
