A pioneer and innovator in the manufactured home industry in Georgia for over 35 years, William “Bill” Edwards passed away in Moultrie, Georgia Aug. 31, 2015. He co-founded Destiny Industries, Inc. in 1978 as a HUD Code manufacturer, building a distribution network across the southeastern U. S. with sales growing to a quarter billion dollars.
Mr. Edwards was only one of 19 people to be inducted into the Georgia Manufactured Housing Association Hall of Fame. He was named one of the Forty Most Influential South Georgians in 2003. MHProNews extends its deepest condolences to the Edwards family. ##
