Patrick was the sole tracked stock today that bucked the down trend among manufactured housing. The broader markets also suffered. Wasn’t it just yesterday that MarketWatch proclaimed that stocks may have finally won their 100 year battle with big oil? Their new story line for today is that the markets will have a terrible week because of oil’s slide; and the bull market may be over.
And Quentin Fortrell says that “The Great Recession is officially over, but Americans are still 40% poorer today than they were in 2007, the year before the global financial crisis.”
That’s bad for the U.S.. But one more area that MH could capitalize by better serving the public, once more individual companies – or the industry at large – learn to connect-with and serve the growing need for quality affordable living starved Americans.
