MHProNews has learned from insideindianabusiness that Patrick Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:PATK) is spending over $1 million in new information, technology and facility improvements at two leased buildings in Mishawaka, Indiana comprising 140,000 square feet of space, with plans to create 84 jobs.

Patrick has a five-year lease for the two buildings, and installation of the equipment is expected to begin in March with completion planned for October of this year. Salary for the new jobs will range from $11.78 per hour for semi-skilled positions to $37.60 per hour for salaried positions.

A personal property tax abatement will be before the Mishawaka Common Council that would save Patrick nearly $25,000 and pay almost $9,500 in taxes over three years.

Patrick, based in Elkhart, IN is a component supplier to the manufactured home and recreational vehicle industries. ##
