Technology stocks spurred a rally that sent the S&P 500 to a record high, the Nasdaq to its highest level in over a dozen years, and the Dow to over 100 points. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +106.20 points, +0.72 percent, -to end the day at 14,818.75. The Nasdaq advanced +0.85 percent, +27.76 points, to close at 3,307.02, while the S&P moved up +0.72 percent, +11.37 points to end the day at 1,593.61. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite rose +0.11% percent to close at 1676.9. All but one of the housing stocks we track closed up or even. Patrick Industries gained the most of stocks we follow, spiking +7.93%, +1.43, to close at 19.73. Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway fell the most of stocks we track, dropping -0.57%, -918.00 points, to end the day at 159,700, the only stock we track that fell. Affiliated Managers Group 151.81 +2.54 (+1.57%). Cavco Industries, Inc. 45.69 +0.57 (+1.26%). Champion, Liberty Homes and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Deer Valley remained at 0.74. Drew Industries 36.04 +0.05 (+0.14%). Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. 80.24 +0.58 (+0.73%). Louisiana Pacific Industries 18.16 +0.10 (+0.55%). Nobility Homes remained unchanged at 5.75.
