U.S. stocks nudged slightly higher the day before the toss-up presidential election, as CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average moved up +0.15 percent, gaining 19.28 points, to close at 13,112.44. The Nasdaq advanced +0.59 percent, +17.53 points to close at 2,999.66, while the S&P moved up +0.22 percent, +3.06 points to close at 1,417.26. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite gained +1.76 percent to close at 1190.7. Housing stocks closed mixed or even. Patrick Industries gained the most of tracked stocks, advancing +4.49%, +0.70, to end the day at 17.70. UMH fell the most of tracked stocks, -0.16%, -2.49, to end at 10.26. Affiliated Managers Group 128.12 +0.31 (+0.24%). Cavco Industries 48.15 +1.24 (+3.19%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 130,300 -250.00 (-0.19%).
