The ‘Pick 3’ will be a new, periodic feature here on the Daily Business News. The idea is to give you a snapshot of a stock, based on public information. But there is more…
Many investors “discovering” the Walmart of quality, affordable manufactured housing are finding some surprises. In an economy that seems to outsiders as “tailor made” for manufactured and modular home producers, some are at times surprised that the business isn’t doing better. Yes, there is a 5 years of steady growth, but couldn’t there be more?
Something mega-investors are discovering is that some stock’s entire market cap are amazingly affordable. Peerless bought 80% of the interest in Deer Valley earlier this year. While no super-sized deals by outsiders are buying in as large as Berkshire-Hathaway did about a decade ago, there are stories swirling about various MH connected firms being courted.
It is worth noting that Berkshire Hathaway, ELS and others continue to invest and buy more in the industry.
Introduction to Manufactured Housing
During the 2014 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show, investors, Realtors ® and other housing professionals – with proper photo ID and business cards – are being invited to attend a free introduction to manufactured housing seminar. The panel forming aren’t stock or investment gurus, but rather industry professionals like Louisville Show Chairman Ron Thomas, Sr.. Attendees will hear live from a panel of pros, can join in the mixers and other seminars being conducted.
Perhaps the key point of appeal for some will be the opportunity to see dozens of modern manufactured and modular homes on display, all under one roof. You can see for yourself why many in MH think it is the future. For more details about the Introduction to Manufactured Housing seminar, click here.

Let’s dig into our first Pick 3. We should state, these 3 were picked at random and this is neither a buy, sell or hold recommendation. Just some straight facts, investors can consider for themselves.
