The Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park in Prince George, Virginia, just south of Richmond adjacent to I-295 received the blessings of the Prince George Board of Supervisors to expand the community by 131 home sites, bringing the total to 373.
Michigan-based owner Sun Pool I LLC has agreed to install a 12 inch waterline to serve the MHC, established in 1970, and also some neighboring homes, all of which until now have been on wells, according to progress-index.
Sun Pool’s plans include upgrades on roads, signage, landscaping and drainage, plus erect a 2,000 square-foot clubhouse, new playground and basketball court, so MHProNews has been told.
Plans for the expansion were sent back for changes two times due to pressure from the neighboring community, but those concerns have been resolved and the opposition has dissipated. Sun is adding a fence along the property line that will provide something of a shield for the neighboring homes. The owner will also replace some of the older single-section homes with multi-section homes to make the community look more like a standard residential subdivision. ##
