According to official statistics released by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), on the year, production is up 19.6 percent over last year—33,139 had been built through June 2015, whereas cumulative production for 2016 stands at 39,869.
The top ten states for shipment of MH since the rebound in Aug, 2011 are as follows, reflecting the total numbers of homes shipped in June, 2016:
Texas, 1,129; Louisiana, 460; Florida, 474; North Carolina, 280; Alabama, 364; Mississippi, 327; California, 285; Kentucky, 239; Michigan, 348; and Tennessee, 230. ##
