A south Tex. ranch now boasts a vintage aluminum factory-built home cradled in a steel frame with a concrete blockhouse for utilities, storage and a screened sleeping room. Overlooking the Neuces River on the client’s favorite spot on the grounds, Andrew Hinman Architecture added a simple steel-framed roof covering it all, and refurbished the interior of the classic home with bamboo panels. Called the Locomotive Ranch Trailer Home, gizmag informs MHProNews the structure also has water cachement barrels.
