Based on 94 communities encompassing 27,888 home sites, as of July 2015, Colorado ranks 7th for occupancy in all age communities for the 19 regions that Datacomp covers, and 10th for average occupancy among the 55+ communities in the 14 regions that include the senior MHCs.
Average rents in both all age and 55+ communities rose for the tenth straight year. The average adjusted rent in all age communities increased by 3.9% to $534 in July 2015, well above the national average of $401.
For the 55+MHCs in Colorado, average adjusted rent increased by three percent in 2015 to $512, above the national average of $468. Rents in 55+MHCs ranked 4th out of 14 regions, and 3rd out of 19 regions for all age communities as tracked by Datacomp. ##
