Updating a story that MHProNews last posted Aug. 1, 2014 concerning resident allegations that management of Blackhawk Estates manufactured home community (MHC) in Des Plaines, Illinois was removing property belonging to the residents and levying fines for children playing in the street, a second meeting to discuss concerns is set for Aug. 27 at the Des Plaines Public Library. According to journal-topics.com, State Rep. Marty Moylan, who hosted the first meeting July 30, has invited State Senator Dan Kotowski, representatives from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the school district to the Aug. 27 gathering.
MHC management often cites safety and health concerns as the basis for enforcement of various rules and regulations, as well as a neat and clean community protects the home value of the residents. ##
