Following a 16-year tug of war between the owner of Naples Estates manufactured home community in Florida and the 484 homeowners who have wanted to buy the property from the owner, the Collier Circuit Court has reiterated a 2008 ruling that the residents have the right to purchase the property. The residents have now won a final judgment issued Jan. 29, 2014 that they may proceed with seeking financing to purchase the community, and appeal the $14 million price tag.
