Today’s MH Market Spotlight Report –
Using Tech and Service, Spotlight with Ethan Allen CEO
Manufactured housing retail has been upended in recent years, as some locations have gone more virtual, and others have stayed more traditional.
Thus the comments from Farooq Kathwari – in the second video below – bears consideration, as to what light it sheds on how factory-built home retail may learn from their experiences.
Privately held Sunshine Homes is among those MH Industry firms that have led-the-way by presenting tools for independent retailers and communities to benefit from the best of technological and training support to encourage a great customer service experience.
To rephrase, Sunshine’s been practicing for some years – with success for themselves and their retailing ‘partners’ – what Ethan Allen is just now starting to discover.
Kathwari, in the video that follows from CNBC, makes a few key bullets.
· As retail becomes more competitive, CEO of Ethan Allen Farooq Kathwari advises companies to combine technology and personal service.
· Earlier this year, the furniture chain took that advice to heart by entering into a collaboration with Amazon
Note: as MHProNews has spotlighted, Amazon is now offering mini-mods on line.
