This year will be Rob Coldren’s last year as a full-time industry lawyer at Hart, King and Coldren [HKC]. He is leaving the full-time practice of law at HKC effective January 1, 2014. Rob has advised that he will never stop working with friends and clients that he has had the pleasure of working with for the past 33 years. He will be actively supporting the Manufactured Housing Community [MHC] industry. Rob stated his partners at HKC will carry on the firm’s tradition of quality legal work with the greatest legal expertise in this industry. Rob advised his focus during the 2013 calendar year has been on trying to ensure a smooth, efficient and pain-free transition of clients and their legal work to other attorneys in the firm’s MHC practice. After Rob’s departure the remaining MHC partners at HKC (John Pentecost, Bill Dahlin, Robert Williamson, Mark Alpert and Boyd Hill) will continue to be active in legal representation in this industry.
Effective January 1, 2014, Rob intends to shift gears to managing MHC investments, acquiring new ones, and spending more time with the ‘kids’ and wife, Brooke. Rob co-founded the nationally recognized MHC law firm, Hart King and Coldren, with managing partner, Bill Hart 33 years ago. As head of that firm’s MHC practice group, Rob steered the growth of the law firm serving the needs of the manufactured housing industry with the highest quality legal representation; a commitment that HKC will continue.
I know we all wish Rob the best in his future endeavors, and I certainly expect to see him at trade shows and events for many years to come.
