ELKHART, Ind., June 8. 2012, –The RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum (Hall) announced that anyone purchasing a brick in the Hall’s Brick Program fundraiser between now and August 31, 2012, the tax deductible donation will also qualify as a donation toward the Ingram family’s $100,000 Challenge Grant, according to Darryl Searer, president of the Hall.
Searer said, “This program is a triple bonus.
1. Not only will those purchasing a brick engrave their name and memory forever in the Hall’s Walk of Fame;
2. They’ll also be able to deduct the donation from their taxes
3. And at the same time help the Hall reduce its 1st Source Bank loan. And since the Ingram Family matches the donation, a $500 brick purchase, in effect, becomes $1,000 toward reducing the bank loan.
Barry Cole (MH Insurance Services), vice chairman of the Hall’s board of directors and co-chairman of the Brick Program fundraiser, explained how the Brick fundraiser program works.
He said, “There are three ways individuals or companies and organizations can participate in the Brick Program fundraiser.
“First, if they purchase a single 4-by-8-inch brick for $250, the engraved brick can have two lines of type, 14 characters long.
“Second, they can purchase an 8-by-8-inch brick for $500 and receive three lines of type, 14 characters long.
“And finally, our third level is a special program we just introduced called the Enhanced Brick Program. You get everything in the 8-by-8-inch brick program, plus they can add a logo or graphic that will also be engraved on their brick.” The regular price for this enhancement is $750.00
Searer added, “During this special promotion between now and the end of August, any person or company that purchases the 8-by-8-inch brick will be upgraded to the Enhance Brick Program at no additional cost—a $250 value.”
Cole said, “In addition to individuals adding their memory permanently on our Walk of Fame, this is an excellent way for companies to honor employees or as a memorial to a loved one who served in the manufactured housing or recreation vehicle industries.”
Searer said, “We think this program has broad appeal because those who donate get something tangible in return for their tax deductible donation – a brick honoring themselves, a loved .one, or a valued employee on the Walk of Fame. And those who donate can be proud of the fact that they are also helping the Hall reduce its bank loan.”
For those who would like to purchase a brick and at the same time make a contribution toward the Ingram family’s $100,000 challenge grant, the Hall has made it easy to contribute. Contributions can be made through the Hall’s secure web site, www.rvmhhalloffame.org or by mail, phone or fax. If paying by check or money order, make payable to the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
