Perhaps unwittingly, when rival politicians assert that their opponents are a ‘threat to democracy in America,’ that happens to include the title of a famous book entitled “Democracy in America” by Alexis de Tocqueville. Due in part to books, letters, and other writings including de Tocqueville’s classic Democracy in America, contemporary readers can know with reasonable precision what those words and notions mean. Such historical references are useful in a time when several competing major, independent, and minor party candidates are making claims about their rivals that can’t both be completely true at the same time. Kamala Harris (D) stood on stage at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago IL this week. Like her chosen vice presidential running mate, Governor Tim Walz (MN-D), they proclaimed anew that Donald Trump and his movement are threats to democracy in America. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.), the son and nephew of famous slain Democratic Party icons, Senator Robert “Bobby” Kennedy (NY-D) and President John Fitzgerald “Jack” Kennedy (D), made his own allegations and claims over a year ago (and again yesterday) about serious concerns within his own lifelong affiliation of the Democratic party’s structure and inner workings. Kennedy, a successful environmental attorney and children’s health advocate, claimed there was a corrupt nexus between swaths of big business, big media, big tech, and big government. RFK Jr. vowed at his campaign launch in 2023 to fight that corruption with a revolutionary spirit. The deposed 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump has for 9 years as a candidate and politician, spotlighted issues he raised decades ago as a businessman, developer, and media mogul. What too few tell their audiences and readers is that all of those figures are or were aligned with the Democratic Party for much or all of their lives.
Trump is an ex-Democrat who won the Republican Party’s nomination in 2015-2016 blasting the errors and corruption of the Bush administration and family, as well as ripping on the Obama-Biden administration for similar claimed misdeeds. As regular and detail minded readers of MHProNews know, the largely leftist (liberal) perspectives in the acclaimed and award-winning documentary drama Shadows of Liberty similarly exposes the corruption, misinformation, deception and misdirection in U.S. politics that exposed both Presidents Bush and Barack Obama as being tools for business interests and their respective media allies. Shadows of Liberty, in our editorial view, ought to be required viewing and reading for every high school and college student in the U.S. It is difficult to imagine how someone can sort out the facts from fables, fibs and fiction absent the clarity that the full-length version of that well-crafted documentary drama provides.
Using mainstream media sources from the left and right and glancing back at videos from years ago that are often available on left-leaning YouTube, it is entirely possible to see who is consistent or inconsistent. It is entirely possible to see who is telling the truth, who is using hyperbole, who is lying through their teeth and projecting onto others what they themselves are guilty of doing. At MHProNews we editorially admire the motto used by WMAL, “Making Sense of the News” where former award-winning CNN journalist Chris Plante, whose family has just celebrated 100 years of involvement in media, has long said that American politics had become ‘a great big bad television production.’
With that backdrop, let’s state the obvious.
It is not possible that Democrats, Kennedy-Shanahan, and Trump-Vance-MAGA Republicans are all correct in their respective claims. Some are at least partially if not largely wrong. If democracy in America is threatened, where does that threat originate? Part VI of this report will explore that topic, but only after reports that include videos of those various candidates is laid out.
The left-leaning, meaning more pro-Democratic Harris-Walz orbit, Boston Globe said this in a “Breaking News” alert to MHProNews yesterday.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the independent presidential candidate who ran one of the most influential third-party bids in decades, is suspending his campaign, withdrawing from ballots in key battleground states, and backing former president Donald Trump, he said on Friday.” MHProNews has monitored the Kennedy campaign from its outset. Millions will agree with Kennedy on some things, and disagree with him on others. Some vilify him. Influential alternative media podcaster Joe Rogan all but endorsed Kennedy just weeks ago. Per left-leaning Business Insider: “Joe Rogan has, by far, the most popular podcast on Spotify, with 14.5 million followers. This doesn’t include his YouTube and Apple Podcasts…” ZipDo said: “Joe Rogan’s show has over 8 million subscribers on YouTube.”
Rogan illustrates that the media environment has fragmented to a surprising degree in the past decade.
Ad Week, which monitors and reports on cable TV audience sizes, said the follow.
“Despite being a busy news month filled with breaking developments out of the Middle East, as well as the start of former President Donald Trump‘s hush money trial, April delivered a mixed bag of ratings numbers for the big three cable news networks.
Fox News remained the most-watched news network in total day and primetime for April 2024, extending its first place lead to 39 months in primetime…”
April 2024 cable news ratings (Nielsen Live+SD data):
PRIMETIME | Fox News | MSNBC | CNN |
• Total Viewers: | 1,979,000 | 1,254,000 | 624,000 |
• A25-54: | 219,000 | 114,000 | 113,000 |
Meaning, Rogan’s podcast can have more listeners/viewers than all three major cable news networks combined. That doesn’t mean that Rogan’s more influential than those legacy media brands. It does mean that millions have sought out voices on the left-center-right that provide insights and information that may or may not be as readily found on mainstream news sites.
In fairness, before proceeding into the following reports, it must be understood that the ideals of liberalism that have undergirded the Democratic Party’s beliefs for over half a century have much good in them. Someone doesn’t have to be a Democrat to see why the Democratic Party’s stated principles may have appeal to tens of millions.
It is not only appealing, it is arguably right and just to champion the cause of the little guy or gal.
It is right and just to say that minorities and women merit the same rights as whites and men.
That is necessary to grasp, because it is the hook that has held together much of the Democratic Party and its base for over 60 years.
Democrats have attracted liberals and leftists among whites, and attracted tens of millions of blacks, Hispanics, and other minorities into a coalition that has more or less governed and driven the agenda in the U.S. since RFK Jr’s uncle was assassinated on national television while campaigning for reelection in Dealy Plaza in Dallas, TX.
That murder in Dealy Plaza was a historic Secret Service failure. It arguably has curios echoes to an equally egregious failure by Secret Service in Butler, PA, where Trump dramatically had his ear pierced by one of multiple bullets that flew by, killing one rally attendee, wounding others, and with the counter snipers taking a shot that killed purported would by assassin Thomas Crooks. Crooks, just twenty, somehow managed to take advantage of several Secret Service errors. Not until this week has some of those errors been met with a suspension of agents, and only the former head of the Secret Service, Kimberly A. Cheatle, was forced out.
Cheatle, said left-leaning Wikipedia, “is an American former law enforcement officer who served as the 27th director of the United States Secret Service from 2022 until 2024.” As the U.S. Secret Service website said: “Ronald Rowe, Jr. tapped as Acting Secret Service Chief to replace Kimberly Cheatle.”
Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent himself and popular media personality, and others assert that Rowe also shares responsibility for events leading up to that fateful day in Bulter, PA.
Untold thousands of items in the U.S. alone get reported by mainstream media from coast-to-coast. It is too much for anyone to keep up with. At best, individuals can strive to be reasonably well informed about the matters that impact them and their lives.
Democrats, now formally led by the Harris Walz ticket, say that Donald Trump and the MAGA (also known as the America First-Americans First) movement are a “threat to democracy.” So much so, that to this moment, the Harris Walz campaign website has no real policy positions, as MHProNews reported days ago. Much of the DNC’s event in Chicago revolved around slamming Donald Trump, and to a lesser extent, Senator J.D. Vance (OH-R), who not so long ago was hailed for his book Hillbilly Elegy, which acclaimed director Ron Howard turned into a movie for Netflix. Netflix has paid the Obamas tens of millions of dollars. Howard and Netflix are largely on the left.
The U.S. economy has an annual gross domestic product (GDP), per left-leaning Google, of $25.44 trillion USD (2022). BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street have combined assets under management (AUM) that rival the U.S. GDP. Those are just three of the many investment firms and private equity interests that hold sway in the U.S. According to Senator Bernie Sanders (VT-DS),
“Bernie Sanders: BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street ‘oligarchy’ threatens democracy.”
‘Democracy will not survive’
That’s per ETF stream, which cited the Sanders tweet (X-post) on that topic.
The dominance of the ‘Big Three’ US fund giants BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is a threat to democracy, US senator Bernie Sanders has warned.
In his latest attack on the three asset managers, Sanders labelled the three Wall Street firms as an “oligarchy” and added “democracy will not survive” with concentration at current levels.
Tweeting on X, Sanders said: “This is what oligarchy is about. Today just three Wall Street firms, BlackRock, Vanguard & State Street manage $20.7trn in assets.
“These three firms are major shareholders in 95% of S&P 500 companies. Democracy will not survive with this concentration of economic and political power.”
Yahoo Finance said: “A research paper titled Opportunism in the Shareholder Voting and Engagement of the ‘Big Three’ Investment Advisers to Index Funds, found it was difficult for the firms to act in the interest of each end investor and therefore often voted in line with the board of the company.”
According to ThinkAdviser is an opposing view.
Days after Sanders’ tweet, Masters in Business podcaster Barry Ritholtz, co-founder, chairman and chief investment officer of Ritholtz Wealth Management, took issue with Sanders in a blog post headlined “Even Socialists Misunderstand Indexing.”
“Bernie, Bernie, Bernie,” he wrote. “Of all the endless Wall Street things to be legitimately angry about — excess fees, leverage, conflicts of interest, risk-taking, bailouts … — this has to be the single worst hot take by any politician on either side of the aisle.”
Sanders’ position “shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what’s been going on in the world of investments, and how the indexing revolution has altered the basic premise of who wins and loses on Wall Street,” Ritholtz wrote.
He called the rise of BlackRock, Vanguard Group and State Street a good thing for investors, retirement accounts and labor, and said it “has dramatically tilted the field in the favor of Main Street against Wall Street, from the big institutions that Senator Sanders despises toward the small investors who make up much of his core base and audience.”
By design, through passive indexing, these companies are major shareholders in virtually the entire market, Ritholtz added. “They have bulked up not through nefarious means, but rather, by providing better long-term performance and at a lower price. It is the opposite of obscene — it is a low-cost, tax-efficient, super productive way to invest for the future,” he wrote.
Actually, each has a valid point. Per Copilot:
…Bernie Sanders recently highlighted a concerning trend in the financial world. He pointed out that just three Wall Street firms—BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street—currently manage an astonishing $20.7 trillion in assets1. To put this into perspective, that amount is nearly equal to the entire Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the United States and more than five times the GDP of Germany234. These firms are major shareholders in approximately 95% of S&P 500 companies, which raises questions about the concentration of economic and political power. This phenomenon, known as “horizontal shareholding,” has drawn criticism for potentially dampening competition in the stock market and affecting everyday investors1. It’s a topic that merits further discussion and scrutiny.”
What Sanders didn’t say in that tweet is that many of those oligarchs and their financial interests demonstrably back Democrats.
Who says?
Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-D), who said in a recent interview that Democrats have become the party of the ultra-wealthy and ultra-poor.
What that means will be explored in Part VIII after the following news items. The multi-trillion-dollar question on American’s minds as the general elections are now just over 2 months away is who is the real threat to democracy in America? It’s your future. Be properly informed. The reason that so many billions are spent on elections is because trillions of dollars are at stake. But one need look no further than the previous point. Both major parties, and several of the minor party candidates, are saying that the future of the American Republic, which they call a democracy, is at stake. Young Americans Are ‘Spiraling’ Downward
Editor’s note: This is a lightly edited transcript of the accompanying video from professor Peter St. Onge.
America’s Hometown Newspaper finally noticed young Americans are screwed.
A few days ago, USA Today wrote an article asking why millennials and Gen Z are “spiraling, partying hard, and blowing their savings.”
I’ve mentioned in previous videos how young Americans are doom-spending their way to financial oblivion amid low-paying jobs, a half-decade of transitory inflation, and half-a-million dollars for a starter home.
USA Today quotes twentysomethings admitting there are no jobs and they can’t save any money but they’re “just kind of letting the days go by, bouncing from job to job, partying, and just kind of acting like everything will work out.”
As a Washington Post editor puts it, millennials and Gen Z are just “embracing an ethos of chaos.”
Alas, it’s not chaos; it’s despair.
Recently, the National Association of Colleges reported that starting salaries for new college grads are $68,000. That sounds good, but after Bidenflation, it’s about $50,000 in pre-pandemic terms.
Keep in mind, to get that $50,000, you’ve got to take on, according to a new study, $300,000 in debt for the average bachelor’s degree.
That comes to four-and-a-half years’ salary at $68,000. Assuming you don’t spend a dime.
It’s also $30,000 less than college students expected during school, according to CNBC, suggesting colleges are intentionally inflating expectations to sucker them in.
Of course, it was a whole different world for the baby boomers chucking at the chaos.
In 1970, starting salaries for college grads, adjusting for inflation to convert to today’s dollars, were $83,000.
In other words, they’re actually down in 55 years. We’re going backward.
Meanwhile, college in 1970 cost $1,240 per year—this was before government got into the student loan game.
Adjusting for inflation, that’s about eight times cheaper than today.
In other words, in 1970, it cost you a half-year salary for the entire bachelor’s degree. Now, it’s almost five years’ salary.
Meanwhile, of course, the price of homes—the main vehicle for Americans to build their life savings and to start a family—have become a joke for the young.
According to the Federal Reserve, the median house now costs $412,000, which is seven-and-a-half times that college graduate’s starting wage. It’s more like 15 times the average salary of a blue-collar worker.
In 1970, the median home cost $24,000, which was two-and-a-half times the starting wage for a college grad and closer to five times blue-collar wages.
So, wages are down. College costs nine times more. And houses cost between seven-and-a-half and 15 times annual salary.
Forget embracing chaos, the chaos is embracing them.
So, what’s next?
The USA Today article, helpfully, provides a solution: mental health counseling. Not a joke.
Some more useful solutions might include slashing government spending so inflation stops and there’s some money left over for small businesses to create full-time jobs instead of gig work.
Lower inflation means lower interest rates, which lowers housing costs.
And getting government out of college loans would bring prices back in line with the boomer utopia they broke.
We’re setting up the next generation to fail. Few of them understand what’s even happening. Instead, they vote for media-approved soundbites while partying their way to financial oblivion.
We publish a variety of perspectives. Nothing written here is to be construed as representing the views of The Daily Signal.

Part II – Per the WND News Center to MHProNews on the Topic of Climate Change at the DNC is the Following, which cites the left-leaning New York Times and Washington Post
Here’s why team Harris isn’t peddling Democrat climate panic this election
‘No one is buying’ the save-the-planet ‘claptrap anymore’
By Nick Pope, Daily Caller News Foundation|
Vice President Kamala Harris has been tight-lipped about her record on climate change while major green groups continue to support her anyways — a dynamic that political pundits and energy experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation is no accident.
Harris — who called climate change an “existential threat” in 2019 — previously probed major oil corporations as California’s attorney general and co-sponsored the Green New Deal as a senator, but she has mostly avoided climate change and green energy on the campaign trail, framing the issues in terms of economics, jobs and investment when she does bring up the subject. That many major eco-activist groups are still supporting her indicates that Harris is trying to broaden her appeal to more moderate voters in order to win the election and subsequently govern as a climate hardliner once in office, energy experts and political strategists told the DCNF.
“The Democrats have figured out that the apocalyptic vibe isn’t really likely to bring people along for this particular ride,” Mike McKenna, a GOP strategist with extensive energy sector experience, told the DCNF. “So, they have obviously made a command decision to focus only on the carrots and ignore anything that looks like a stick.”
Charles Payne Says Kamala Harris’ Proposed Business Tax Hike Will ‘Make The Lives Of Workers Harsher’ https://t.co/QuLAnUp2Yl
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) August 21, 2024
Harris and her running mate, Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, have campaigned on climate issues in passing, but eco-activist leaders are generally unconcerned about the lack of focus on the issue, according to The New York Times. Walz did not address climate change during his Wednesday night speech at the Democratic National Convention , sticking primarily to his background as a rural American.
Even after the Harris campaign walked back her previous support for a fracking ban, a slew of environmental organizations opposed to fracking endorsed her candidacy. The campaign’s apparent strategy of not focusing much on climate change “suggests that Democrats see talking about the environment as a lose-lose proposition” in this election cycle, The Washington Post reported on Thursday.
“They know what she’s going to do. There’s no upside to talking about climate,” Steve Milloy, a senior legal fellow at the Energy and Environmental Legal Institute, told the DCNF. “Keep in mind, I believe it was in July of 2022, The New York Times ran a poll reporting that only 1% of voters prioritize climate. So it’s a loser issue … And they can’t afford to lose Pennsylvania. So, they don’t want to talk about climate, because when you talk about climate, then you have to talk about fracking, and then they’re going to have to talk about how she wants to stop fracking, regardless of what she says.”
Democratic Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, who has pursued one of the most aggressive state-level climate agendas in the U.S. in his tenure as governor, recently told the NYT that he doesn’t think Harris needs to leverage her climate record on the campaign trail.
“I am not concerned,” Inslee told the NYT. “I am totally confident that when she is in a position to effect positive change, she will.”
Moreover, the political wings of three green groups — the League of Conservation Voters, Climate Power and the Environmental Defense Fund — are spending $55 million on swing state advertisements to boost Harris, but the first threeads released do not actually address climate change. The ads back into the subject of green energy and pitch Harris’ record on the issue as centered on protecting ordinary Americans from greedy corporations and promoting “advanced manufacturing and clean energy” as a means of helping the middle class.
This approach is different than the one Harris used during her first run for the presidency in the 2020 cycle, in which Harris attempted to outflank many of her Democratic opponents from the left by endorsing policies like carbon taxes, changes to dietary guidelines to decrease red meat consumption and a ban on plastic straws to complement a fracking ban.
Eco-activists and climate-focused voters “definitely believe she will go left, left, left on climate and energy,” Scott Jennings, a political strategist and on-air pundit for CNN, told the DCNF. “Of course they do. Her 2020 campaign agenda is what they are banking on. And I assume she will deliver for them if she wins.”
TRUMP: “Kamala Harris is a radical California liberal who broke the economy, broke the border, and broke the world” pic.twitter.com/GQ4enYSUhO
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) August 15, 2024
President Joe Biden also made climate a key aspect of his successful 2020 campaign, guaranteeing that he would end fossil fuels and calling former President Donald Trump a “climate arsonist” who was failing to protect Americans from the “ravages of climate change,” according to Inside Climate News. Nevertheless, Biden and his top officials still frequently drew the ire of hardline climate activists despite the administration pursuing what it describes as the “most ambitious climate agenda in history.”
Harris cast the tie-breaking vote in the Senate to secure the 2022 passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Biden’s signature climate bill. While its price tag has ballooned from initial estimates and some contend that the bill has actually worsened inflation, the IRA unleashed hundreds of billions of dollars of private and public spending on green energy and manufacturing projects.
The Biden-Harris administration touts that investment as evidence that its domestic agenda is working.
“The climate activists in the Democrat Party have finally realized that no one is buying their ‘climate emergency’ claptrap anymore or their claims of 5, 10, or 20 years left to ‘save the planet.’ Instead, they are pedaling a barrage of silly economic claims that somehow pouring hundreds of billions and now trillions of dollars into government centrally planned projects,” Marc Morano, the publisher of Climate Depot, told the DCNF. “This new Democrat climate messaging, where they don’t mention climate, is part of the legacy of the Inflation Reduction Act, where local communities and certain states get unlimited federal funds poured into them via taxpayers to create a ‘green economy.'”
Kayleigh McEnany Says Kamala Harris’ Far-Left Gut Instincts Could Hurt Her Electoral Chances pic.twitter.com/GrvPK6Ivys
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) August 19, 2024
Len Foxwell, a Democratic strategist based in Maryland, said that the Harris campaign’s lack of attention to climate change and green energy issues is deliberate given her need to secure the support of a broad coalition if she is to win in November.
“First and foremost, Kamala Harris’ responsibility in this race is to win it. And to do so, she has to present her priorities in a way that resonates with those who are concerned about the economy and frustrated with their own financial situations. Specifically, she has to emphasize the opportunities that exist for better jobs, higher wages and long-term cost savings for the ratepayers,” Foxwell told the DCNF. “This is particularly imperative when discussing renewable energy investment, because the upfront costs tend to be considerable and the financial benefits to the middle class are largely speculative.”
As the Democratic candidate for the presidency, Harris “has to communicate her vision and values in a way that attracts the broadest possible coalition,” though it remains to be seen how she would actually govern if elected given uncertainty about the future balance of power in Congress, according to Foxwell. Harris and her team must take care to not propose policies that would increase the cost of living for middle class Americans, which would be “third rail” politics given how concerned people are about the economy, he added.
The Harris campaign did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Part III Per left-leaning Glenn Greenwald, in an email to MHProNews on 8.23.2024 is the following on the DNC
Obamas Warn America of Perils of Wealth and Privilege; DNC Remains a Dissidence-Free Affair …
Tonight, there are many inspiring sermons coming from the podium of the Democratic National Convention, as you might expect, but none more moving than the two speeches delivered on Tuesday night by former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. Both of them warned of the evils of greed, of massive wealth accumulation and wealth disparities, and especially those who seek fame and fortune. Michelle specifically told the story of how her mother always taught her to look with suspicion, unquote “folks who take more than they need” and she said, most of us do not enjoy what she called the affirmative action of generational wealth.
The point of all of this, needless to say, is to tell Americans what the Democratic Party represents, what the Obama legacy represents and what the values and character are of those who lead the party. One problem, of course, is that both Obamas, since leaving the White House, in early 2009, have lived the exact lives which their lectures were designed to denounce. They are now worth hundreds of millions of dollars. They jetted in into Chicago from one of their several $15 million sprawling estates around the country, or, more likely, from the yacht of one of their many billionaire friends off the south of France or in the Caribbean. That’s to say nothing of the cavalcade of privileged vessels – the Pritzkers and the Soroses and the Kennedys – who are the living, breathing embodiment of generational wealth and taking more than one needs and they were dominating the podium and the party.
It’s also to say nothing of the massive corporations and hedge fund billionaires who have always funded that party, at least since the Clinton years, and still do. And then there are the party’s deeply anti-democratic practices, which stood in stark contrast to Michelle Obama’s announcement that the Democratic Party, unlike the other party, does not cheat to ensure that it gets the results that it wants in an election. So, it’s really worth examining what this party actually is by comparing it to the self-serving image the Obamas created of both that party and of themselves.
Then: At last month’s Republican National Convention, several prominent speakers ascended to the stage to deliver speeches full of criticisms of deviations from the Republican establishment’s ideology, such as the speeches by David Sacks and Tucker Carlson in primetime, both of which ranted against US funding of the war in Ukraine and the neocon doctrine of endless war generally. The contrast with the DNC could not be any starker. Everything about the organization of this convention is designed – like the party itself – to enforce strict conformity and lockstep ideas, to the point that the party will not even allow a single Palestinian-American to ascend to the podium and speak, even if they promise, as they are doing, to say nothing other than to heap praise on Kamala Harris. Michael Tracey has been covering the convention on the ground for us, as you probably know, and we will show you some of how this dissent is being purged. …”

Backstabbing Behind the Scenes at the Democratic Convention
Josh Hammer, a syndicated columnist, is senior editor-at-large at left-leaning Newsweek and a research fellow with the Edmund Burke Foundation. He also is counsel and policy adviser for the Internet Accountability Project and contributing editor for Anchoring Truths.
No one is buying what Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Democratic Party are selling these days.
Earlier this week, on the opening night of the demonic confab in Chicago that Democrats call their national convention, the outgoing commander in chief explicitly denied that he was “angry at all those people” who said he should “step down” following his catastrophic faceplant at the June presidential debate.
There is not a single soul who actually believes this. For weeks following the debate, while the corporate media and Democrat elites circled like piranhas, the White House defiantly stood its ground and insisted it wasn’t going anywhere.
Biden eventually caved, but it beggars belief that he is not angry at those very Democrats who shivved him in the back and then forced him to read his own political eulogy—a screeching, bitter rant—on national television. No one is buying it, Joe.
On the second night of their satanic summit, Democrats heard from dyed-in-the-wool communist Bernie Sanders. Sanders, who honeymooned in the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War and flew a literal hammer-and-sickle communist flag in his old mayoral office, is a leading kingmaker in today’s Democratic Party.
At one point during his speech, Sanders intoned: “I want you all to remember where we were three-and-a-half years ago.”
Do Democrats really want to compare the actual track records of Donald Trump and Biden? Before COVID-19 hampered Trump’s final year in office, Russia didn’t invade Ukraine, Hamas didn’t massacre Israelis, the economy didn’t enter a formal recession, inflation didn’t reach a four-decade high, millions of unvetted illegal aliens didn’t flood into the country, and America was a net exporter of energy.
No one is buying this one either, commie.
Later on Tuesday, conventioneers heard from the two supreme titans who truly control today’s radical Democratic Party: Barack and Michelle Obama. Barack and Michelle tried to gin up artificial enthusiasm for Harris by recapturing the good ol’ days of 2008-era magic of “hope” and “yes we can!”
No sentient human being could plausibly nod along to a comparison between Barack Obama and Harris. Shared far-left politics and general swarthiness aside, the talented orator Obama does not in any way resemble the dimwitted California cackler-in-chief who is less popular than venereal disease and was only installed as Democrats’ presidential nominee following Uncle Joe’s bloodless coup due to a forced hand and lack of any other viable option.
In his speech, Obama also referenced how tapping his “friend” Biden as his 2008 running mate was one of his “best” decisions.
Really, how stupid do they think we are?
Obama, although he didn’t have the courage to publicly call for it, was—along with Nancy Pelosi—a leading plotter of Biden’s fateful July coup. Indeed, Biden himself didn’t even stick around for Obama’s harangue; he had already jetted off for sunny California.
Harris also skipped town for Milwaukee the night of Obama’s prime-time Chicago speech, apparently in order to not risk offending Biden. As Fox News senior White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich reported based on a close source, the “Obamas are still not on the White House good side.” Nor should they be! No one is buying this ridiculous pretense of a grand Democratic Party kumbaya.
Finally, large swathes of the Democrats’ diabolical Windy City conclave were dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Biden, a purported “patriot” and “good man” who put “country above party” by “selflessly” bowing out of the presidential race.
This entire narrative is a lie. Biden was not “selfless” or “noble” in gently “bowing out”—he was ruthlessly couped by his partisan peers. Democrats, unlike Republicans, believe in nothing so much as they believe in doing whatever it takes to win. There was nothing whatsoever voluntary or selfless about this—just one party doing whatever it felt it had to do to maximize its chances of victory against an opponent it has falsely lambasted as a unique threat to “our democracy.”
As for the notion that Biden is a “good man”—this, too, is a lie. Indeed, it has been one of the biggest, most frequently repeated lies of my entire life. Biden is not a good man. Let’s ask Mary Ellen Bork whether Biden, who teamed up with Mary Jo Kopechne murderer Ted Kennedy to so brutally savage her late husband Robert’s Supreme Court nomination that “bork” entered the English lexicon as a verb, is a “good man.”
We might also ask Clarence Thomas whether Biden, who did more than anyone else to spread Anita Hill’s slanderous lies, is a “good man.”
Also, can any father in America actually look at Hunter Biden and conclude that Joe was a good father?
If nothing else, no one is buying that. ##

10 Takeaways From Final Night of Democratic National Convention
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We just had a very nice endorsement from RFK JR!” pic.twitter.com/yNmooMWGo4
— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) August 23, 2024
He said he met multiple times with Trump and found that he and Trump agree on “many” key issues.
They still will disagree on issues, Kennedy said, but on some subjects they plan to work together, like “ending the forever wars,” “ending childhood diseases,” “ending censorship,” “getting the intel agencies” out of the industry of spying on Americans.
He said he tried to reach out to Kamala Harris’ campaign, who refused to meet with him.
Earlier, Kennedy’s VP candidate, Nicole Shanahan, had suggested the campaign would stop, and would join forces with Trump.
The Independent said, “The most important question is how much of the Democrat or Republican vote may be freed up by a RFK Jr. exit. Just 1% of Democrats have said they are voting for RFK Jr. in YouGov’s poll, compared to 3% of Republicans (including leaners). On average, a slightly higher amount of Republicans have supported him thus far. But the polls have been unable to clearly dictate whether more Biden or Trump 2020 voters have come out in support of Kennedy, with polls showing a mix of both.”
It continued, “On average, various polls have shown that there is little to no change when Harris and Trump compete in a head-to-head (without third party candidates); but where there is a minimal boost, it tends to lean in favor of Trump by +1 or +2 points, not the other way around.”
The analysis confirmed, “Where RFK Jr.’s decision may really matter most is the swing states. It can be difficult to pin down the RFK Jr. voters and where exactly they are most concentrated, so numbers should be taken with a pinch of salt due to polling constraints. But a Refield and Wilton poll (August 15) of 10 states shows that RFK Jr. has enjoyed a wider lead in some states than others. Specifically, he has the strongest support in New Mexico (8% of the vote), Florida (5%), Michigan (5%) and Nevada (5%).”
The Deseret News reported bluntly that Trump “will likely benefit the most” on a Kennedy move.
“A national Deseret News/HarrisX poll conducted at the beginning of August shows Kennedy languishing at the national level, with about 8% support. But he performs much better in Utah, a new Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll conducted by HarrisX shows, where he has 15% support. Without Kennedy, Trump benefits both at the national and state level.\”
That result said without Kennedy, Trump was at 47% and Harris at 45%.
In a lengthy statement that included a detailed explanation of his dream of improving the American food supply and thus improving health across the nation, RFK said he hopes to be working in a Trump administration on that very project.
Kennedy, whose uncle John was president and father Robert F. was attorney general – before they both were assassinated – called his decision to break with the Democrat party “heart wrenching.” But he said it was the Democrat party that actually left him.
He said he would leave his name on the ballot in states that are not likely to be swing states, in order for his supporters to vote for him. In swing states, he said, he’ll take his name down, because to do otherwise would “likely hand the election to the Democrats.”
He said Democrats used to be champions of the Constitution, champions of transparency, champions of the environment, the part of Democracy.
Not the current version.
“I left that party because it has departed so dramatically from the core values I grew up with,” he said.
The party’s egregious examples of failing democracy include pushing Joe Biden, with an apparent cognitive decline, under the bus to install Harris, who has not ever won any delegate vote herself.
He said in a fair system he could have won the election, but not under the current system of government censorship, unfair primaries, a media tainted by partisan agendas and more.
He said in “saving Democracy,” the Democrat party actually is dismantling it.
“Lacking confidence in its candidate in a fair election at the voting booth, the DNC has continued to wage a legal warfare against Trump and myself,” he said.
Regarding Harris, the current vice president, he said, “Instead of showing us her substance and character, DNC and media organizations engineered a surge in popularity based on nothing. Only smoke and mirrors.”
The party, he said, uses censorship and media control as well as the “weaponization” of federal agencies in its political battles.
That long has been a concern expressed by Trump, who has been targeted over and over with lawfare criminal and civil cases, often built on flimsy grounds, assembled by Democrats under the Biden administration against him.
Kennedy said, “When a U.S. administration colludes with or outright coerces media to censor political speech, it’s an attack on the very right upon which all of our other constitutional rights rest.”
Media organizations, he charged, are “stenographers for the organs of power,” and could have prevented “the demise of Democracy” had they remained unbiased.
He warned, “Oppressors don’t censor lies. They don’t fear lies. They fear the truth and that’s what they censor.” ##
Part VII – Additional Information with More MHProNews Analysis and Commentary in Brief
It has been said that “Friends don’t let friends drive drunk.” The notion is simple. A drunk driver may get in an accident, injure, maim, or even kill themselves and/or others. Property can be damaged. Lives can be changed in tragic ways. By encouraging a friend who is intoxicated to avoid driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is the act of a true friend.
If that is what someone ought to do for a friend who is under the influence and preparing to operate a motor vehicle or do something else similarly dangerous, why is it that so many think it is OK to allow friends or colleagues to operate under mistaken illusions that could cost them and literally millions of others their future and freedom?
Millions in the U.S. today are the sons or daughters of immigrants or are immigrants themselves who have left nations where oppression by socialist, communist, fascist, and corrupt authoritarian systems exist(ed). What Bobby Kennedy Jr. had to say about the Democratic Party is an alarm akin to a fire alarm.
Most of us can’t nor should force others how to vote. We can’t (or shouldn’t) be authoritarian in our efforts to stop authoritarians. But we can and should share the evidence that makes it possible for our fellow Americans to vote intelligently. Yet, per Kennedy and others, that is precisely what Democrats have been doing for some time. MHProNews hopes to acquire a transcript of the Kennedy withdrawal message covered in his announcement. It has been called, aptly so, one of the best explanations of his positions.

Kennedy called what Democrats did to Biden a palace coup. Others have used similar language. Democratic party insiders (not the rank and file Democrats) stand credibly accused of destroying democracy in order to save it.
Kennedy flatly said that he disagrees with Trump on several issues. He is supporting Trump not because he is a perfect candidate, but because he is the best available candidate in the 2024 election cycle. The behaviors of the Harris-Walz ticket is known, because she has embraced the behaviors of the Biden-Harris administration. Most Americans were financially better off under Trump than they are under Biden-Harris. It is just that simple. Everything else can be a smokescreen. Virtually all of the third-party candidates have said that the Democrats are a threat to democracy, and they are attempting to project onto others what they themselves are guilty of doing. They often palter, project, deploy doublespeak and doublethink, and use a variety of manipulative measures. That doesn’t mean that others are perfect, there are no perfect candidates. Despite his objections to the 2020 election, Trump left office. Had he truly been a ‘threat to Democracy’ he certainly didn’t show it when he left, did he? The story of January 6 is often misunderstood, because it is misrepresented. The evidence of corruption under Biden Harris is stunning (see below). Some of us, like Kennedy Jr., grew up in Democratic households. It may be difficult to break with that past, but if Kennedy can do it, and millions of others are on that journey, others can take hope and inspiration in that too. Rep. Moulton said Democrats have become the party of the ultra-wealthy. Trump is a former Democrat. He challenged the Bush wing of the Republican party and beat it to transform the GOP into a new organization that is being rebuilt around the middle class, working class, retirees, and ‘everyday Americans.’ MHProNews has reported on these issues or years.
