The Franklin News-Post says Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia, is expanding again, this time with another modular dormitory for the expected increase of students going forward. Excavation has begun for the second building, which will be completed in time for the fall semester in August. The $4 million project will have 31,000 square feet, including a 1,000 square foot conference room. Mod-U-Kraf of Rocky Mount, Virginia, builder of modular homes and commercial buildings, is pleased to be constructing the second dormitory.
