MHProNews.com reported in a story earlier today a Stone Creek Homes facility in Marshall County, Indiana south of South Bend abruptly closed its doors earlier this week, allegedly with no advance warning and without paying the 40 employees. Now word comes to us from WOWT-TV that the Stone Creek Homes plant in Central City, Nebraska in the southeast part of the state just as abruptly closed Thursday with no warning, idling 40 employees there as well. As in the Indiana closure, company officials allegedly did not return phone calls for comment. A city official said the company built modular homes. Stay tuned for further details as they unfold.
