In hedge fund trading, Robotti Robert bought 50,000 shares of manufactured and modular home producer Skyline Corp.(NYSE:SKY), and as of Q4 2015 controls a total of 64,700 shares valued at $379,142.
After selling 1,383 shares of Skyline stock during the fourth quarter, Vanguard now owns 138,999 shares with a value of $814,534, according to losangelesmirror.
Adding 1,382 shares of Skyline stock during the fourth quarter gave Blackrock Fund Advisors a portfolio valued at $8,099.
Meanwhile, moving just north of Skyline’s headquarters in Elkhart, IN to Southfield, MI-based Sun Communities, Inc. (SUI), Echo Street Capital Management added Sun to its portfolio by purchasing 107,768 company shares during Q4, valued at $7.5 million. According to sussexpilot, Terra Nova Asset Management now holds 8,700 shares of Sun valued at $602,475 after selling 200 shares.
Advantus Capital Management Inc. added 23,309 shares of Sun to its portfolio and now holds a total of 44,796 valued at $3.1 million.
Sun owns and operates 217 properties located in 29 states throughout the United States, 183 of which are manufactured home (MH) communities, 25 are RV communities and nine communities have a mix of both. As MHProNews reported March 22, 2016, this is before the $1.68 billion announced acquisition of Carefree Communities, which will add approximately 103 more MH and RV communities to Sun’s operations. ##
