The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up +0.56 percent, +97.72 points to end the day at 17,633.11.

The NASDAQ advanced more than the two major indices+1.67 percent, +79.83 points to close at 4,846.62.

The S&P 500 nudged up +0.88 percent, +17.96 points, to end the day at 2,055.01.

Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) gained +2.58 percent to finish at 1254.2. All active MH-related stocks closed up or even in today’s trading, with every stock that rose (except one) gained in three figures. Louisiana Pacific gained +6.60 percent. Skyline Corp. led the stocks we track for the third straight day, gaining 6.87 percent, +0.57 points, to end the day at $8.87. UMH Properties slipped the most of active tracked stocks, -1.11 percent, -0.11 points, to close at $9.76.
