On the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average regained about two-thirds of the points it lost yesterday, moving up +1.41 percent, +227.64 points, to end at 16,379.05.
The NASDAQ advanced more than the other two major indices, +1.96 percent, moving up +88.93 points, to end the day at 4,615.00.
The S&P 500 similarly regained lost ground, +1.67 percent, +31.56 points, to finish at 1,921.84.
Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) nudged up +0.58 percent to finish at $1085.3. Tracked stocks we follow closed mixed or even. Skyline Corp. gained sharply, +11.77 percent, +0.45 points to close at $4.20. Carlyle Group also gained nicely, moving up +7.61 percent. Cavco Industries fell the most of tracked stocks, -2.04 percent, -1.66 points, to end the trading day at $79.60
