Three possible manufactured home (MH) siting requests were on the agenda for the City Council of Jourdanton (Texas) Board of Adjustment’s public hearing meeting May 16, as related to MHProNews by pleasantonexpress.
The first was for a variance to the zoning ordinance to install a manufactured home at 1906 “A” Waltom, but the legal description of the lot was incorrect, which led to the tabling of the request.
The next two were for MH special use permits. Joshua and Jessica Gonzalez were seeking a permit to site an MH on property at 1004 Marion. Patsy J. Elizabeth Tymrak- Daughtrey said the couple did not own the property and needed a landlord lease for their own protection.
Robert Ortiz requested the second special use permit to site an MH at 308 Main St. Norma Ortiz, noting none of the neighbors were concerned about an MH in the neighborhood, told the council the property was not worth building a home on because of the lack of resale value.
Both special use permits were approved unanimously. Jourdanton is just south of San Antonio. ##
