Stocks tried to fight off declines on Monday, but ended 24 points short of turning performance positive. The Dow Jones US Home Construction Index closed 1.74 percent lower. Palm Harbor Homes continued to gain back a little of its lost value, ending up seven percent Monday to close at 18 cents a share. Cavco had a good day on Wall Street closing up more than two percent to arrive at $35.08 a share. Nobility Homes also gained and ended up 3.23 percent or $8 per share. Closing lower were TJT Inc, Skyline Homes and Universal Forest Products.
