According to thetimes-tribune, a modular house built by some 50 students at Johnson college in Scranton, Penn. is scheduled to move up a winding road today where it will be sited and prepared for its new inhabitants. Although the school has been building modular homes as part of the construction program for three decades, this is the first partnership with Habitat for Humanity, a program which will continue this fall. As MHProNews has learned, the family scheduled to live in the home will work along side Habitat volunteers to complete the residence and learn maintenance and building skills.
