RE: SUSPENSION OF MHCC AO SERVICES — UPDATE
As a follow-up to MHARR’s memorandum of May 15, 2012 regarding the suspension of MHCC Administering Organization (AO) services by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a result of non-payment by HUD, attached for your information and review is a self-explanatory letter sent by MHARR to HUD Assistant Secretary-Federal Housing Commissioner, Carol Galante, regarding this matter as well as HUD’s broader degradation of the MHCC, including its role, authority, independence and functionality (see, copy attached).
MHARR expects this matter to be resolved soon.
We shall keep you apprised of any new developments.
