The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) informs MHProNews it is imperative industry stakeholders and members contact their representative in Congress to urge them to vote for the Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act (H.R. 650) that is expected to hit the House Floor Tuesday. D.C.-based consumer groups are working on the hill to defeat the measure, telling House members the bill will harm consumers, when in fact current Dodd-Frank regulations are much more harmful.
It is critically important to the working families who depend on affordable manufactured housing, the largest form of unsubsidized housing in the nation, that this measure is passed by the House of Representatives.
