From midsouthnewz, MHProNews has learned Terra Nova Asset Management has increased its holdings in Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Sun Communities (NYSE:SUI) by 4.8 percent in Q3 2015, according to an SEC Form 13F filing. The institutional investor added 410 shares during the quarter and now owns 8,900 shares of company stock. Terra Nova’s holdings add up to $603,000.
In its last quarterly earnings report Oct. 27, Sun reported $1.05 earnings per share, meeting the Thomson Reuter’s consensus estimate. The company earned $185.36 million for the quarter, compared to estimates by analysts of $173.38 million. Revenue for the quarter rose 42.2 percent over Q3 2014.
Separately, Sun’s Chief Operating Officer, John Bandini McLaren sold 5,000 shares of Sun stock Nov. 12 for $62.00 per share for a net transaction of $310,000, as MHProNews reported Nov. 13, 2015.
Sun Communities owns and operates 217 communities in 29 states comprised of 183 MHCs, 25 recreational vehicle (RV) communities and nine that are a mix of MH and RV, totaling 92,500 developed sites.
In trading today to end the week, Sun closed down -1.22 percent at $68.67. ##
