MHProNews.com has learned that the PAC drive results are in from the Texas Manufactured Housing Association’s (TMHA) annual meeting and from the Manufactured Housing Institute’s (MHI) annual meeting. Executive Director DJ Pendleton’s office at the TMHA reports that their recently concluded annual meeting raised over $50,000 for the TMHA PAC fund. Sources state that MHI’s PAC fund raised about $32,000 at their just concluded annual meeting. TMHA thanked their board, members and presenters at their meeting for their strong showing. MHI PAC chairman, Rick Rand of Great Value Homes, thanked Clayton, Cavco, Champion and George Allen for their singular efforts, while expressing appreciation to all MHI members and staff who made their achievement possible. Pendleton said: “That’s $50,000 we can use during this interim time and into the 2013 session to further protect and advance your industry.” Rand said, “We did some good numbers. We are excited about that. It took a lot of work on a lot of people’s part.”
