This shouldn’t come as any big surprise! The Tunica Manufactured Housing Show has been going strong for over 18 years, and has taken on a fresh new look. So please join us in 2016 for an unparalleled marketing experience that will pay off now and in the future.
The Tradition . . .
During its long history the “Tunica Show” has grown to include virtually every supplier and manufacturer who has wanted to capture the southeast market. As home designs changed, as they became more complex and more beautiful, as they incorporated state-of-the-art features that appealed to every segment of consumers, our exhibitors recognized that the showcase represented by The Tunica Show was valuable as a marketing medium. Exhibiting at Tunica offers you one of the best ways to get in front of your customers and prospects in a relatively short amount of time. Tunica gives you the opportunity to not only show your homes, products, or services, but also creates that all important first impression. The Tunica Show is worth the effort!
The Timing . . .
March is a prime time for The Tunica Show, because retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers want to place orders and have inventory delivered in time for the spring selling season. They want to have the time to investigate and compare competing manufacturers and suppliers.
The Marketplace . . .
In 2015 The Tunica Show registered retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers from all over the region. The show, drew 1,192 retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers this past year, from an expansive region which stretched from Illinois all the way to East Texas. The number of attendees actually exceeded our expectations and even surpassed last year’s attendance numbers. This is a significant coup for The Tunica Show, because it means new leads, new business relationships, and expanded market penetration.
“We were pleased with the results of last year’s show for all of our exhibitors, retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers,” said Keith Bennett, SCMHI Chairman for the 2016 Tunica Manufactured Housing Show. “Based on comments made by last year’s exhibitors, our new show site proved to be very successful. I heard positive comments from exhibitors talking about how much easier it was getting around the new show site, as it was not spread out as it had been in the past. The service and suppliers enjoyed the Hollywood Casino and Hotel. This area was far superior to what we had at Harrah’s; everybody seemed pleased with the new location! ” said Bennett.
Our New Show Site Was a Winner in 2015…
In 2016, over 70 new model homes are expected to be featured at the show. The models will offer a firsthand look at the latest technology, conveniences, efficiency, and state-of-the-art design modifications that have been developed during the past year. The don’t-miss showcase of homes is an essential element in getting a firsthand view for retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers as they head into the spring selling season. Innovation is more important than ever and the showcase of homes makes certain that everyone sees, understands and can fully utilize the new technology found in our homes.
Service and supplier exhibitors will number in the 100’s for the 2016 show. Supplier exhibitors are critical to our industry, providing vital services and products to the manufactured housing industry. Each year, this group of exhibitors showcases the newest technology, products and services that can be utilized by our industry.
“We depend upon each other within this industry and our service and supplier exhibitors to ensure that everything that goes into building our manufactured housing products are superior,” Gene Rogers, show chairman, said. “Their expertise across many areas translates into the best-built products.”

Our Scheduling…
Continuing the excitement that accompanies another year at the world’s largest manufactured housing show, there are two free lunches that will be provided for attendees. The lunches offer a convenient and delicious way to luncheon at the show site and maximize your time. They will be held in the official SCMHI Hospitality area located on the third level of The Resort Casino. The annual Bloody Mary Mixer will be held Thursday morning, March 24th as a casual start to that day’s show schedule in the service & supplier exhibit area.
One of the ways we want to show our appreciation is through the exciting Sponsorship Program.
Sponsorships are an excellent brand builder for show exhibitors and offer an attractive array of special items at each level. As in previous years, the sponsorships include Gold, Silver and Bronze options and provide the levels of brand exposure that may fit best with an exhibitor’s marketing plan and budget. The shows past sponsors have been a key part of the success of each event. Sponsorship allows all of our sponsors to get the recognition and attendee awareness that are well deserved.
The rewards that will be generated “BY STAYING THE COURSE” include higher sales to more retailers, builder/developers, community owners/operators, and installers, qualified leads from an entirely new group of buyers, prominence and visibility in a competitive marketplace, and invaluable builder contacts that will serve you well in the years ahead.
The show plans to provide NEW EXCITING SEMINARS. Stay tuned for more information about what seminars will be offered and how you can sign up. Tony Kovach, with www.MHMarketingSalesManagemt.com (MHProNews.com) will once again lead our seminar programming for the 2016 show. Seminars will be held on Tuesday March 22, the day before the show… IN ORDER To maximize your time with attendees on Wednesday and Thursday.
Resorts Casino ….
All seminars will be held at the Resorts Casino in the Magnolia Room. This area is located on the second level of the casino. The SCMHI luncheon’s will be held on the third level at the Resorts Hotel in the “event center” on Wednesday, March 23rd and Thursday, Mach 24th. If you are looking for “optimum convenience” to the manufacturer’s exhibit area, we suggest you stay at the Resort Casino and Hotel. When you walk out of the rear entrance of the Resorts Hotel… you are walking directly into the entrance to the manufacturer’s exhibit area. This location couldn’t be any more convenient!
Hollywood Casino ….
All service and supplier exhibits will be at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel. The exhibits will be located in the grand ballroom. Shuttle bus pick up delivery point to the manufacturers exhibits will be located in this area. We are going to have shuttle busses run from the service and supplier exhibit area to the manufactures exhibits on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. All registration for the show will occur at the Hollywood Casino. If you are exhibiting in the service and supplier exhibit area the Hollywood provides optimum convenience for exhibitors. Last year many exhibitors talked about how convenient it was at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel for service and supplier exhibitors. We would agree with this assessment. If you are looking for closeness to all the hotel facilities as well as the supplier exhibits then the Hollywood would be your choice.
Buffets will be open at the Resorts as well as the Hollywood for breakfast, lunch and dinner during the show. At night the Resorts has the 61 Grille streak house (open Monday-Thursday). In addition, the Hollywood property will have the Fairbanks Steakhouse (open Monday – Thursday)
When show hours conclude, you have a city that offers a wide variety of entertainment and fine food. Tunica is the third largest gambling destination in the country, and boasts 8 world-class casinos. Excellent dining options are numerous and meant to be enjoyed as part of your show day.
