Yorkshire, England entrepreneur Andrew Foreman has entered a 50/50 joint partnership worth $8 million with Marcol Group, a property investment company, to grow three modular building companies near Beverley on the Catfoss Industrial Estate. Catfoss Eco Modular Living Ltd manufactures modular buildings for homes and business. Catfoss Modular and Portable Buildings Ltd. renovates previously used modular buildings and sells them to the private and public sector, while Catfoss Cabin Hire Ltd. specializes in portable cabins for long and short-term rentals for businesses, schools, industry and residential, according to insidermedia.com.uk.
With 25 years in the modular building business, Foreman says, “Strategically, this joint venture allows us to drive forward the companies much more quickly, which we were very keen to do. I could see the potential in all of the businesses, and all of them operate in markets which are in growth again.” Currently a mix of agricultural and industrial business, MHProNews has learned Catfoss was originally a grass airfield in 1930, and became an armament training ground in the 1930’s, and a busy airfield during WWII for the Royal Air Force (RAF).
