State officials are investigating after one person died at the Clayton Homes facility in Maynardville, TN on Monday, said the Knoxville News.
The victim’s identity has not been released, and was not a Clayton Homes employee, per a statement by Chris Cannon with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, per WBIR.
The victim worked for Hoyle’s Tire and Axle, based in Henderson, North Carolina, according to Cannon.
The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration has launched an official investigation that may take between 10-12 weeks, Cannon said. Mainstream media sources revealed no other details about this tragic death at this time.
The Daily Business News wishes condolences to all touched by the loss, and will update this post as this developing story is updated.
Safety First
