The Manufactured Housing Institute’s Chairman Nathan Smith has been urging industry members to contact their U. S. Representatives in support of H. R. 1779 via the MHI’s new advocacy page, requiring just a few clicks to send a letter. Smith says both houses of Congress are in recess and the members are likely to be in their home districts. He suggests contacting Jason Boehlert or Rick Robinson at MHI for a brochure to take with you when you schedule a visit with your representative, encouraging them to support 1779, and urging them to pressure party leaders to bring the bill to the House floor for a vote.
