What’s the “Enemy of Capitalism?” That’s a question that John Stossel asks in this thought-provoking video.
There are good reasons for taking a ‘wheat and chaff’ approach to information sourcing. Sometimes it will be the Washington Post, but at other times, it may be the Washington Examiner or the Hill. A progressive may be wrong on some topics but could be correct on another. The same is true for a Democrat, libertarian, or a given Republican, etc.
In a brand new video, John Stossel takes a look at the question, “who is the enemy of capitalism?”
The video opens with democratic socialist supporter Senator Bernie Sanders recent attack on: Amazon. Sanders said Amazon didn’t pay its workers enough and because of that, many qualified for government assistance.
Stossel build the narrative, one step at a time, until he gets to the headline statement, above. So don’t bail 3 minutes into a video that is less than 7 minutes long, and has had 10x more views in a day than Clayton Homes’ image campaign video has had in a year.
Stossel nails in a general way an issue that MHProNews has raised for years that is specifically impacts manufactured housing. Namely, that Big Companies are using the levers of government power to outmaneuver, force out of business, or even gobble up smaller firms.
It’s a vexing pattern that goes beyond our industry, but must be grasped with open eyes by MH Professionals – including those who work for a giant company like Clayton.
