Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity will join President Donald J. Trump at a rally Monday, November 05, 2018 at 09:00 pm (CST) on the eve of this week’s midterm elections, the Trump campaign announced Sunday.
The Hill reports, “The two conservative media personalities will join Trump for a rally Monday night in Cape Girardeau, Mo.”
The campaign said in a statement that Hannity and Limbaugh are “longtime friends” of Trump and “strong advocates for the President’s America First agenda.”
“We’re glad to welcome Cape Girardeau native Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as special guests to this final stop on the tour where President Trump will make his case to the American people to support GOP candidates on Election Day in order to continue our great American comeback under his leadership,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of the Trump Campaign in a statement.
Meanwhile, in Michigan and elsewhere that Vice President Mike Pence is stumping for Republican candidates, the VP has said that they will “make history,” and “hold the House.”
VP Pence also predicted that John James will unseat Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow in Michigan.
Conventional wisdom and most of the last 100 years of history for both major parties suggests differently. For example, starting with the first midterm, President Barack Hussein Obama began bleeding Democratic seats. Over the next 6 years, Democrats lost over 1,000 local, state, and national seats during the Obama Administration era.
But conventional wisdom and the polls were defied before. In 2016, MHProNews projected the path to victory for President Donald J. Trump, against the long odds of most analysts.
The analysis by the Daily Business News on MHProNews believes that Republicans can pick up as many as 10 (+/-) seats in the U.S. Senate. That’s based upon the most recent data on early voting, and closely analyzing other polling data that some others don’t consider.
For example, President Trump’s approval with minorities has soared in the wake of all-time low unemployment numbers.
That said, with so many retirements in the U.S. House by Republicans, it is the harder fight. So, as with any electoral contest, the outcomes is based not upon polls, but actual turnout and votes.
The progressive publication The Nation put it bluntly this weekend. In a release to MHProNews, they said “Ignore the polls.” It is all about actual votes.
Fisher and Stifel investment firms have both said that the significant market turmoil in the October run-up to the midterms was due in part to uncertainty of the GOP holding the House. If the GOP wins both the House and the Senate, and defies history again in 2018, then there are reasons to expect a strong continuation of the Trump economic reforms and more business and job growth.
The immigration issue, strong business confidence, wage growth, economic numbers measured by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and other data favors the #45th president and his party. Recent word that one of now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers admitted that she was lying could add one more bit of incentive to those who are tired of dirty politics.
