“There’s class warfare, all right.
But it’s my class,
the rich class, that’s making war,
and we’re winning.”
– Warren Buffett,
per the New York Times.
In our profession among several others, billionaires exercise significant economic, media, and political power. Relying on data from Forbes, the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) via Inequality.org and other outlets, has named the top billionaires whose wealth has surged since the COVID19 pandemic, ensuing economic, racial, and political upheaval of recent months. It’s been called one of the greatest transfers of wealth in history. In no specific order of importance, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg are among those IPS named.
Buffett’s statement about class warfare has a companion claim. Actually, there has been class warfare for 20 years, he said. Given the surge of wealth, is there any reason to doubt the sincerity of his claim?
“There’s been class warfare for the last 20 years, and my class has won,” reported the left-of-center Washington Post, which cited the left-of-center CNBC.
If two examples of direct quotes from Buffett aren’t enough, perhaps a third one will make the point? According to the left-of-center Huffington Post, “Through the tax code, there has been class warfare waged, and my class has won,” Buffett told Business Wire CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz at a luncheon in honor of the company’s 50th anniversary. “It’s been a rout.”
Buffett led Berkshire Hathaway owns Business Wire, a press release service. At that same talk, Berkshire’s chair said: “You’ve seen a period where the American workers have generally gone no place and where the really super rich as a group increased their incomes five-for-one in this rarified atmosphere.” Buffett also made this statement about the Eurozone structure that will be examined in a planned upcoming report, “Don’t ever give up the right to issue your own currency.” That will be explored in a planned future report.
Buffett for years has postured the desire for the rich to pay at least the same tax as the middle class, a plan called “The Buffet Rule.”
Here is how Business Wire reported it: “Regarding the “Buffett Rule,” President Barack Obama’s suggestion that those who make more than $1 million a year should pay at least the same percentage of their earnings in taxes as middle-class Americans… On the potential of having a tax named after him, Buffett quipped, “It was my childhood dream to have a tax named after me.””
It sounds noble to have one of the wealthiest men on the planet say they want to pay higher taxes. But the tax code that Buffett referred to also gives signifcant deductions for donations to nonprofits. Here is how NerdWallet stated it on May 28, 2020: “In general, you can deduct up to 60% of your adjusted gross income via charitable donations, but you may be limited to 20%, 30% or 50% depending on the type of contribution and the organization…”
When Buffett’s multi-billion dollar “Giving Pledge” is closely examined, his donations are often of Berkshire stock. They often go to nonprofits operated by a family member – consider the example of the NoVo Foundation and Peter Buffett – or to a nonprofit where Buffett himself is a trustee, such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Rephrased, Buffett says he wants higher taxes, while sheltering his money in nonprofits that often exert influence over the political and thus the economic system.
Regarding that research published by Inequality.org? Here is what that group has to say about itself. “Our Mission Inequality.org has been tracking [wealth] inequality-related news and views for nearly two decades. A project of the Institute for Policy Studies since 2011, our site aims to provide information and insights for readers ranging from educators and journalists to activists and policy makers.” They openly state their desire to influence media, educators, activists, and policy makers – meaning the political process that often shapes economic decisions.
Two recent posts by Inequality.org’s website are these topics:
- “Police Violence Is Enabled by Massive Spending – The Black Lives Matter protest movement shows again why America needs to defund bloated and militarized police departments.” That “Research and Commentary” by Sonali Kolhatkar was published by Inequality on JUNE 08, 2020.
- “How Workers are Fighting Pandemic Profiteering by Private Equity Firms – A retail worker organizer shares strategies for countering the Wall Street firms that are lobbying for bailout money while laying off workers and closing stores.” That “Research & Commentary” was published by Inequality on JUNE 15, 2020 by Aliya Sabharwal and Ricardo Valadez.
That sounds noble and raises concerns that many believe are legitimate. Is it irony or cunning that causes Warren’s son Peter Buffett led NoVo Foundation to be among the donors to this cause? Because Influence Watch cites them as a donor.
Robert Chandler in his book “Shadow World” says on page 343 that “…the list of Tides Foundation and Center grant recipients include numerous progressive-socialist-marxist groups supporting the Institute for Policy Studies strategy for the cultural transformation of America.” Shadow World has 4.7 stars on Amazon and 4.3 stars on GoodReads. Wikipedia says that Shadow World’s author “Robert W. Chandler was an American journalist, businessman, and philanthropist. He was the editor and publisher of The Bulletin, a daily newspaper in Bend, Oregon. He ran the newspaper for 43 years.”
Put differently, through the Tides – which is supported by Buffett’s NoVo Foundation, and directly from the NoVo Foundation, IPS – and thus so too is Inequality.org – get funding. While publishing articles and reports that decry private equity and call for defunding police, private equity giant Berkshire Hathaway’s chairman Buffett is financing part of their messages. Is the a contradiction, or something else?
Michael P. Lebowitz of RIA Advisors has quoted Buffett on monopolistic practices that are sometimes masked under the terminology the “moat,” or sometimes spoken of openly. “If you have a good enough business, if [for example] you have a monopoly newspaper…your idiot nephew could run it.”
Lebowitz explains. “Keyword Monopoly…The empire of the perceived champion of American capitalism and free markets is built on monopolistic companies. Yes, I think we can add that to the list of contradictions...”
Lebowitz said that “these [Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway] holdings, besides the fact that they each have their monopolistic “moat”…” perhaps being polite or prudent, he adds “To my knowledge, he is not being overtly dishonest but he certainly has a way of rationalizing what appears to be obvious contradictions. Because of his global following and the weight given to each word he utters, the fact that his actions often do not match the spirit of his words is troubling.”
Marty Lavin, J.D., an MHI award-winner, periodic advisor to financing companies for years, as well as to a government sponsored enterprise (GSE) has said something similar, without naming a specific name. “Pay more attention to what people do than what they say” said Lavin and “Follow the money.”
Rephrased, a case can be made that Buffett’s money and behavior are often on both sides of issues. However, support for forces opposing ‘the capitalist system’ is often done through what the Open Market Institute has called dark money channels. Meaning, dark money funding means that the source of the money is not always easily identified. In our industry, for example, Buffett’s and Berkshire’s bucks have flowed to MHI and to MHAction, which on the surface appear to be in conflict.
That vexing pattern occurs time and again. For instance, Prosperity Now, which supports the National Manufactured Home Owners Association (NMHOA), gets bucks that flow directly or indirectly from Buffett/Berkshire. An MHI insider told MHProNews specific revelations that when considered in context is eye-opening.
Manufactured Housing Institute Insider’s Keith Ellison Revelation, “Anti-Consumer” Bias, Other Leaks
The headwinds that helped keep Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act from passing was paid for in part by Buffett/Berkshire bucks. Yet it was Berkshire owned 21st Mortgage Corporation CEO, and prior MHI Chair Tim Williams, that supported passage of Preserving Access. What does someone call the game when both the support and opposition are supported by the same funding party?
The title to Lebowitz’s article is insightful. “A Walking Contradiction – Warren Buffett.” While some aspects of Lebowitz’s contentions merits the prudent application of the principle of separating the wheat from the chaff, an argument can be made that seemingly contradictory behavior is part of the plan. It isn’t an routine accident.
The Rigged System?
Senator Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders are among those on the political left that has said “The system is rigged.” It so, who had rigged it?
Ironically, they parties involved have said it themselves. It’s often the rich, the billionaires who have rigged the system. Is it ironic that billionaires have supported several of the political campaigns of Warren and Sanders?
While in the 2020 election cycle the millionaire Sanders eschewed billionaire donations, earlier in his career, he accepted them. “Bernie’s billionaires: Some wealthy donors have backed Sanders for years,” said right-of-center Fox News on March 15, 2016.
Right-of-center Forbes said on February 18, 2020 itemized the support of Democratic ‘liberal’ candidates who have received money from billionaires. “Joe Biden is up to 60 billionaire donors while Pete Buttigieg hits 56. … Elizabeth Warren had previously received support from six billionaires…”
IPS and their companion income Inequality website have also been supported by the foundations, nonprofits, and financial largess of billionaires. Are they biting the hand that feeds them? Or is something else also at play?
The answer to that and more are explored in the report and linked data found below.
Indeed, Tim Williams, President and CEO of 21st and former MHI chairman oddly seemed to be taking a shot against the positions held by his big boss, Warren Buffett. He did so during an MHI meeting, when he made a presentation that decried the very progressive positions that Buffett has supported financially for years. Was this a true and sincere disconnect or a diabolical head fake?
Economic Inequality and Affordable Housing
Part of economic inequality is the imbalance in affordable home ownership. Voices across the left-right divide have agreed that affordable home ownership is the surest path to household wealth creation. President Donald J. Trump’s HUD Secretary Ben Carson, M.D., has also made that case. Secretary Carson, prior to entering politics and government service, was a famous neurosurgeon. Carson has made three statements that bear mention in this context.
> Manufactured housing is widely misunderstood.
> Manufactured homes are an important part of the solution to affordable home ownership and wealth creation, especially those with lower incomes.
> Dr. Carson has also spoken about the methods of Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals.
Note that the National Association of Realtor’s Certified Business Economist (CBE) Scholastica “Gay” Cororaton” made similar points in her seminal 2018 research into manufactured housing quality and value.
While MHI touts their own research, they routinely fail to mention third party research that would arguably carry more credibility with the general public, media, researchers, or policy advocates. Note that even though a now-former MHI VP was referenced by Cororaton in her research, MHI still fails to even mention the National Association of Realtors’ useful research. Where is the logic for that, if they want to see the industry grow?
Cororaton’s research reveals that manufactured homes could be afforded by most renters. As MHARR’s founding president Danny Ghorbani has outlined in a step-by-step fashion, the financing that could make that possible is available, but is often being thwarted.
Rephrased, MHI has the ability to showcase credible, third-party researchers that have performed useful research on manufactured housing. But time and again, they fail to do so.
Indeed, there are years of such positive research that MHI ignores on their website, while claiming to be ‘promoting’ and ‘championing’ manufactured housing. Yet, the shipment records for 2018 compared to 2019 reflects that manufactured housing actually contracted during an affordable housing crisis.
Indeed, one of those university-level promoters of HUD Code manufactured homes used to be featured in MHI literature, then Harvard’s Eric Belsky, who has since moved onto the Federal Reserve. But sometime after Clayton Homes was purchased by Buffett led-Berkshire Hathaway, his name vanished. Odd? Or part of the pattern that builds the Clayton Homes moat?
Over the course of months and years, MHProNews has documented the money-trail between “donations” by Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway which owns Clayton Homes and nonprofits engaged in manufactured housing. Berkshire also owns 21st Mortgage Corporation, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance (VMF), and owns or has an interest in several other companies that are all members of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI).
Clayton Homes’ General Counsel, Tom Hodges, is also the current Chairman of the Board of MHI. Through dues, allies, and positions held, Buffett-led Berkshire dominates MHI. The only significant counterbalance in associations to MHI is the Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR). There are no known ties between MHARR member companies and Berkshire, save in financing of homes through 21st Mortgage. That connection is ubiquitous in virtually all of manufactured housing for reasons that will be noted further below.
House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters (CA-D), along with other Democratic colleagues, has publicly called in a letter linked here for investigations into Clayton Homes and their affiliated lending. For bipartisan balance, Republicans signed onto a letter to the CFPB on a financing related topic, see that linked here.
Waters also called out the predatory lending practices of Clayton’s Berkshire sister brands, 21st and VMF. Waters and her colleagues pointed to the Seattle Times reporting on the problem.
But what often goes under-reported or is lost in the details is the fact that Buffett/Berkshire bucks also flows to the Center for Public Integrity. Rephrased, because the Center for Public Integrity teamed up with the Seattle Times to do their research that expose what they called predatory practices by Clayton, VMF, and 21st, Buffett/Berkshire bucks are once again on both sides of the information battle.
MHProNews Analysis and Commentary
Why would Buffett, Berkshire, and billionaires be on both sides of often contentious issues? Because it is a subtle way that could escape the majority of Americans as well as public officials who may not have the time or resources to follow the money trail and the sometimes confusing fact-pattern.
Social, political, economic disruption often results in harm to smaller independents while it helps larger firms and private equity. That is what this pandemic and the 2008 financial crisis both reveal when carefully examined. The record reflects, see below, that it doesn’t matter if it is a Democrat or Republican in the White House. The same pattern has been occuring for years.
While manufactured housing is a relatively small industry today, it is actually smaller in terms of the numbers of homes built than it was when Berkshire bought Clayton and Oakwood, rolling the later into the former to create what today is the largest and most dominating company.
Antitrust – meaning anti-monopolization – and other laws might be used to stop such machinations. But antitrust has been largely sidelined for years, according to Open Markets.
CNN noted that the billionaires are ‘talking to each other all the time.’ Kevin Clayton, President and CEO of Berkshire owned Clayton Homes said in a video interview that Buffett has numerous contacts and sources of information.
Clayton praised Buffett’s “genius” in that video interview. Kevin also said that he would run Berkshire the same way that Buffett does if he was asked to lead the conglomerate. The transcript and video are both found in the report linked above.
Decades of third-party research reveals that manufactured homes are the most proven part of the affordable housing market. Yet, it is largely misunderstood. That’s a common lament in our industry, which Terry Decio of formerly independent Skyline Homes is one of those who have expressed that concern.
The laws to make more manufactured homes available already exist. Democrats and Republicans alike passed those laws by wide margins. They were examples of bipartisanship. Yet the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000 (MHIA), and the Duty to Serve (DTS) manufactured housing remain largely thwarted some 12 to 20 years after they were signed into law by presidents of both major parties.
Coincidence? Wasn’t it the late William Proxmire that said that in politics there are no coincidences? Didn’t he also say, if you want to find the truth you should follow the money?
We noted earlier that MHARR’s founding president Danny Ghorbani has taken a step-by-step approach to expose how DTS has been largely sidelined. His successor, MHARR President and CEO, Mark Weiss, J.D., has explained why the MHIA is so useful to making more affordable home ownership possible.
The laws needed are in place. So how is it possible that Berkshire, Clayton, and MHI are not able to grow beyond the shipment pace that existed when Buffett made the deal to acquire Jim and Kevin Clayton’s family business? Or is it a case that they benefit by keeping shipments at a low level, so that industry underperformance slowly and steadily squeezes out smaller players?
Officials and attorneys representing Berkshire Hathaway, Clayton Homes, 21st Mortgage, VMF, and MHI have been asked questions like these several times. They decline comment.
But when Andy Gedo, a pro-MHI member debated that contention, he ended up conceding the debate.
Indeed, Gedo made some useful statements and observations during that debate.
Tim Williams, executive director of the Ohio Manufactured Homes Association (OMHA) said that he would debate the issues raised on this platform. But when given an opportunity to have a debate moderated by a state university that has no financial or direct ties to either OMHA or this platform, Williams failed to accept the offer. Why would these pro-MHI voices fail to rise to the challenge if they are so confident that market manipulation is not at play? Is it because the Gedo debate already demonstrated that market manipulation is demonstrably at work?
The logic, when viewed in the light of years of evidence is obvious and sobering. War has been waged on the independents of our industry, and on independent American businesses in general. This Wuhan Virus pandemic is yet another crisis that is not going to waste.
The ‘Crimson Contagion’ pandemic resulted in tens of millions of lost jobs. American health and intelligence experts seemingly inexplicably failed to warn the White House until late January 2020. Yet several mainstream reports make it clear that by late November 2019, U.S. intelligence was aware of what was occurring in Wuhan, China that has since harmed our economy, led to the loss of millions of jobs, and cost over 125,000 lives. The left-of-center New York Times and others have wondered, how did the CDC which exists for such events fail the nation so badly?
“Never Let a Good Crisis Go To Waste” – COVID19 Pandemic – Problems and Solutions
The answer sounds so outrageous that it would be dismissed as a ‘conspiracy theory.’ But the facts are what they are. Billionaires began the rigging of our economy, politics, and nonprofits decades ago. It may have been a loose alliance, or perhaps it has some periodic meetings such as what the left-of-center Irish Central reported in New York City, reported on May 18, 2009. “A top-secret meeting of the world’s richest people to discuss the global financial crisis…
“The mysterious, media-blackout meeting was called by Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire-Hathaway; Bill Gates, co founder of Microsoft; and David Rockefeller Jr., chairman of Rockefeller Financial Services,” said IrishCentral. Their report was picked up by others in mainstream media. It continued with these pull quotes.
- “In addition to Gates, Buffett and Rockefeller, the attendees included Oprah Winfrey, George Soros, Ted Turner, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, among others
- It was held in the President’s Room at Rockefeller University In New York at 3 p.m. on that Tuesday afternoon.…
- In their letter of invitation, Gates, Buffett and Rockefeller cited the worldwide recession and the urgent need to plan for the future...
- Turner, founder of CNN, once donated $1B to the United Nations. Soros has a personal fortune estimated at $11B, while Bloomberg is listed as the eighth-richest American with a net worth of $20B.
- Other invitees included Eli and Edythe Broad, whose current fortune is estimated at $5.2B by Forbes Magazine; John Morgridge, former CEO of Cisco and his wife Tashia; Peter Peterson, senior chairman of the Blackstone Group; Julian Robertson, founder of Tiger Management Corp.; and Patty Stonesifer, former CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”
As an interesting point, virtually all of these oppose President Donald J. Trump, although Oprah Winfrey and pre-presidency Trump were periodically promoting each other.
Buffett has periodically blasted Trump for years, including in one of his annual letters well in advance of the 2015-2016 campaign. Buffett and private-citizen Trump have been on opposite sides of political campaigns for several years, dating back at least to the Obama presidency.
President Obama and his wife Michelle have become wealthy since leaving the White House. That is not unlike what occurred with former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
While some might debate the effectiveness of President Trump in carrying out campaign promises, what is beyond question is that candidate Trump has repeatedly ripped the ‘rigged system’ too. When both left and right agree on something that alone should merit attention.
Candidate Trump said during his campaign that he used the rigged system for years, so he knew it from the inside. He vowed to “drain the swamp,” and to end the rip-offs of American workers by globalists and foreign nations. Prior to the Wuhan Virus’ impact on the American economy, the working class was seeing its biggest increase in income in decades. That claim is backed by data from both left-of-center CNN and right-of-center Fox News.
It is an open question if President Trump can reverse the fortunes of the economy quickly enough to win reelection. What is more difficult to debate is that Buffett, Gates, Soros and others among the top billionaires were and are opposed to President Trump. Bear in mind the insight from comic Jay Leno and from Carol Roth that follow.
People are known by what they do, who supports them, and who opposes them.
Almost 4 years since this video was posted, it is still being viewed by the curious and those who already support President Trump. Millions of views of this version of the video have occurred. It is worth watching in the light of current events.
Buffett said there is a war and that his class is winning. Perhaps it required a billionaire, another insider, to expose what has been occurring in our nation in recent decades.
While some may debate style of the 45th president, what is harder to debate is that pre-COVID19, despite the fiercest opposition an American chief executive has faced in over a century.
Here is how CSPAN reported part of the text of that speech.
“For those who control the levers of power in Washington, and for the global special interests, they partner with these people that don’t have your good in mind. Our campaign represents a true existential threat like they haven’t seen before.
This is not simply another four-year election. This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not we the people reclaim control over our government.”
The Hillsborough GOP reports more of October 13, 2016 speech by then candidate Trump like this.
The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American People.
Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People. There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell, to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense.
The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.
The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. As an example, just one single trade deal they’d like to pass, involves trillions of dollars controlled by many countries, corporations and lobbyists.
For those who control the levers of power in Washington, and for the global special interests they partner with, our campaign represents an existential threat.
This is not simply another 4-year election. This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not We The People reclaim control over our government.
The political establishment that is trying everything to stop us, is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled this country dry. The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs, as they flee to Mexico, China and other countries throughout the world. Our just-announced jobs numbers are anemic, and our gross domestic product, or GDP, is barely above one percent. Workers in the United States, were making less than they were almost 20 years ago – and yet they are working harder.
It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities.
Just look at what this corrupt establishment has done to our cities like Detroit and Flint, Michigan – and rural towns in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and across our country. They have stripped these towns bare, and raided the wealth for themselves and taken away their jobs.
The Clinton Machine is at the center of this power structure. We’ve seen this firsthand in the WikiLeaks documents in which Hillary Clinton meets in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers.
And, likewise, the emails show that the Clinton Machine is so closely and irrevocably tied to media organizations that she is given the questions and answers in advance of her debates. Clinton is also given approval and veto power over quotes written about her in the New York Times. And the emails show the reporters collaborate and conspire directly with the Clinton Campaign on helping her win the election.
With their control over our government at stake, with trillions of dollars on the line, the Clinton Machine is determined to achieve the destruction of our campaign, which has now become a movement the likes of which our country has never seen before – and we won’t let them do that.
The most powerful weapon deployed by the Clintons is the corporate media. Let’s be clear on one thing: the corporate media in our country is no longer involved in journalism. They are a political special interest, no different than any lobbyist or other financial entity with an agenda. And their agenda is to elect the Clintons at any cost, at any price, no matter how many lives they destroy.
For them, it is a war – and for them, nothing is out of bounds.
This is a struggle for the survival of our nation. This election will determine whether we are a free nation, or whether we have only the illusion of Democracy but are in fact controlled by a small handful of global special interests rigging the system.
This is not just conspiracy but reality, and you and I know it.
The establishment and their media enablers wield control over this nation through means that are well known. Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist, a xenophobe and morally deformed. They will attack you, they will slander you, they will seek to destroy your career and reputation. And they will lie, lie and lie even more.
The Clintons are criminals. This is well-documented, and the establishment that protects them has engaged in a massive cover-up of widespread criminal activity at the State Department and Clinton Foundation in order to keep the Clintons in power. Never in history have we seen such a cover-up as this, one that includes the destruction of 33,000 emails, 13 phones, laptops, missing boxes of evidence, and on and on.
People who are capable of such crimes against our nation are capable of anything.
[…] But I take all of these slings and arrows for you. I take them for our movement, so that we can have our country back. Our great civilization, here in America and across the civilized world, has come upon a moment of reckoning.
We’ve seen it in the United Kingdom, where they voted to liberate themselves from global government and global trade deals and global immigration deals that have destroyed their sovereignty.
But the central base of world political power is here in America, and it is our corrupt political establishment that is the greatest power behind the efforts at radical globalization and the disenfranchisement of working people.
Their financial resources are unlimited. Their political resources are unlimited. Their media resources are unlimited. And, most importantly, the depths of their immorality is unlimited.
Our political establishment has no soul. I knew these false attacks would come. I knew this day would arrive. And I knew the American people would rise above it and vote for the future they deserve.
The only thing that can stop the Corrupt Clinton Machine is you. The only force strong enough to save this country is you. The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American People.
They control the Department of Justice, and they even clandestinely meet with the Attorney General of the United States – in the back of her airplane, while on the runway – for 39 minutes – to most likely discuss her reappointment in a Clinton Administration just prior to the Attorney General making a decision over whether or not to prosecute Hillary Clinton.
Likewise, they have corrupted the Director of the FBI to the point at which stories are already saying the great men and women who work for the FBI are embarrassed and ashamed to what he’s done to one of our great institutions. Hillary Clinton is guilty of all of the things that Director Comey stated at his press conference and Congressional hearings, and far more – and yet he let her off the hook, while others lives are being destroyed for far less.
This is a conspiracy against you, the American people.
This is our moment of reckoning as a society and as a civilization.
I didn’t need to do this. I built a great company, and I had a wonderful life. I could have enjoyed the benefits of years of successful business for myself and my family, instead of going through this absolute horror show of lies, deceptions and malicious attacks. I’m doing it because this country has given me so much, and I feel strongly it was my turn to give back.
Some people warned me this campaign would be a journey to hell. But they are wrong, it will be a journey to heaven because we will help so many people.
In my former life, I was an insider as much as anybody else – and I know what’s like to be an insider. Now I am being punished for leaving their special club and revealing to you their great scam. Because I used to be part of the club, I’m the only one who can fix it. I’m doing this for the people, and this movement is just right – and we will take back this country for you and Make America Great Again.
The corrupt establishment knows that we are an existential threat to their criminal enterprise. They know, that if we win, their power is gone and returned to you. The clouds hanging over our government can be lifted, and replaced with a bright future – but it all depends on whether we let the New York Times decide our future, or whether we let the American people decide our future.
If this Clinton Campaign of Destruction is allowed to work, then no other highly successful person – which is what our country needs – will ever again run for this office.
I will not lie to you. These false attacks hurt. To be lied about, to be slandered, to be smeared so publicly and before your family, is painful.
What the Clinton Machine is doing to me, and my family, is egregious beyond words. It is reprehensible beyond description.
But I also know, it’s not about me – it’s about all of you. It’s about all of us, together, as a country.
It’s about the Veterans who need medical care, the mothers who’ve lost children to terrorism and crime, it’s about the inner cities and the border towns who desperately need our help, it’s about the millions of jobless Americans. This election is about the people being crushed by Obamacare, and it’s about defeating ISIS and appointing Supreme Court Justices who will defend our Constitution.
This election is also about the African-American and Hispanic communities whose communities have been plunged into crime, poverty and failing schools by the policies of Hillary Clinton. They’ve robbed these citizens of their future, and I will give them their hope, jobs and opportunities back. I will deliver.
This election is about every man, woman and child in our country who deserves to live in safety, prosperity and peace.
We will rise above the lies, the smears, and the ludicrous slanders from ludicrous reporters.
We will vote for the country we want.
We will vote for the future we want.
We will vote for the politics we want.
We will vote to put this corrupt government cartel out of business. We will remove from our politics the special interests who have betrayed our workers, our borders, our freedoms, and our sovereign rights as a nation. We will end the politics of profit, we will end the rule of special interests, we will put a stop to the raiding of our country – and the disenfranchisement of our people.
Our Independence Day is at hand, and it arrives, finally, on November 8th. Join me in taking back our country, and creating a bright and glorious new dawn for our
people.
##
It remains to be seen what the last 4 months of this election cycle will look like. But Buffett and his fellow billionaires are quite obviously at odds with President Trump.
The Trump Administration Justice Department has been reportedly ramping up efforts for some time on antitrust action. “Trillions of dollars” are at stake, Trump said in that speech above.
More specifically, “The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.
The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. As an example, just one single trade deal they’d like to pass, involves trillions of dollars controlled by many countries, corporations and lobbyists.”
On a sobering note, a source in Iran has told MHProNews this past weekend of a purported plot to kill the 45th president. That source is hardly the only one, as a Google search would reveal. Over 9 million results are found for that search, and several have been arrested who allegedly plotted to kill the president. Hopefully, these evil efforts can continue to be thwarted.
What seems clear is that billionaires like Buffett, Gates, Soros, Bloomberg and others are willing to spend large sums of money to unseat – or otherwise do in? – American’s 45th President, Donald J. Trump.
From blood, riots and looting that have occurred in the streets, to attacks on the symbols of our beliefs and heritage, to a twisting of authentic history, the Establishment is fighting POTUS Trump and faithful members of his administration.
It is an epic clash that lies ahead. Who will sway the majority of voters? Who will win the Electoral College? Time will tell. Early voting is less than 4 months off in several states, and Election Day 2020 falls this year on November 3.
The class warfare and related efforts declared by Warren Buffett and his allies will climax at about that time.
