Smallcap Network notes four suppliers of wood products have seen gains in their stock since last November. The Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:LPX), which makes building products for manufactured housing, jumped from $7.90 a share to $9.45, a gain of nearly 20 percent. Leucadia National Corporation (NYSE:LUK) saw their stock price go from $25.00 a share to $36.72, an increase of 46.87 percent. Leucadia makes dimension lumber and other specialty wood products. Masco Corporation’s stock jumped from $10.75 to $13.71. It manufactures all types of cabinetry, architectural specialties, and provides installation services. Universal Forest Products (NASDAQ:UFPI) manufactures and installs lumber, composite wood, and other building products for the manufactured housing industry. Universal Forest Products’ stock went from $30.00 to $33.24.
